The neighborhood is a unique piece of history and although geographically it sits in the middle of a major city it has such a unique environment making it more of a classy village that is completely different from the city of Columbus. The brick roads, stand alone old fashion stores and restaurants are one of a kind. The apartment was modern, comfortable, and aside from the dishwasher all the appliances worked as they should.The wifi was super fast, the kitchen cabinets were loaded with everything you would typically have in your own kitchen, the bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms were very nice and newly remodeled. the linens were fresh and clean, the washer and dryer were newer and worked well. the overall experience was a pleasure

The house is basically falling apart, the bathroom sink is coming off the wall. The queen bed in the second bedroom was falling apart and I have pictures proving that it like that prior to my family’s stay. The house smelled like dog and the couch smelled like dog pee. There’s no plugs working in the bedroom and that sucks because my grad daughter has cystic fibrosis and has to do her breathing treatment before bed. I couldn’t access the heat because it wanted a code. And I was never given it, so I had to heat the house with the oven mid winter. There’s plenty more but I don’t want to get anymore into detail. And I seen a roach during my stay and I understand that’s normal for rentals. But come on if I knew I would not have book this property.

Like I’ve already stated when I book a place and amenities are listed microwave & dishwasher etc the plugs It’s simple I’d expect them to work. Communication was awful It wasn’t all bad The beds were great pillows great bedding great . Disappointed there was only 1 TV I should have read better. The maids were friendly But it was a bit cold 🥶 I couldn’t touch thermostat, so I had to use oven to keep the front part warm , there was a tiny heater but I had to plug that into back bathroom I promise you I cleaned when we left I even hand washed all dishes and even cleaned toilet seat. Not surprisingly they gave me bad review I noticed while my stay the maids literally were at the other apts 20-30 minutes to basically change beddings leave clean towels,there no way they did any other cleaning. Beautiful neighborhood. I think this place only cares about the money could care less if anything works unfortunately. So if it’s winter & you wanna stay here dress warm & bring extra bedding. Yes I was disappointed but we made the best of bad situation.

I stayed at this rental for six nights, and the condition of the apartment was far below what I expected. When I arrived, the floors had visible dirt, the countertops had debris, and there were dead flies on the barstools and counters. I also found clumps of hair on the floor, and the towels and washcloths had a very strong odor. The bedding did not appear to have been properly cleaned, as there were pubic hairs all over the pillows and sheets.I contacted the host immediately. A cleaner was offered, but only if I left the apartment during the cleaning, and since I had nowhere else to go, they refused to clean. I purchased supplies and cleaned the space myself so I could stay there.There were also several maintenance issues: the blinds were broken in every room, the bathroom sinks didn’t drain properly, and the walls were very thin, with noticeable smoke/weed smells drifting in on multiple nights. Parking was also difficult, as cars can regularly block you in overnight. While the location was convenient, the overall condition and upkeep of the property caused significant inconvenience during my stay and the host was not helpful at all. Based on my experience, I would not book this property again.
