'The Italian Job' movie has been shooted on the canal downstairs here. Very luminous and airy. The elegance of the venitian mosaic floor, the Murano glass chandeliers, the antique furniture and fabrics is joined with the modernity and functionality of the kitchen and bathrooms. The apartment was restored while the building was left in its original state. The front door opens into a grand entrance that is surrounded by four bedrooms (one master, one double and one queen with an attached studio and sofa bed), living room, kitchen and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. From the balconies, you can enjoy the view of the gondolas gliding by. Air conditioned, timed with magnetic card to be paid separately, based on usage. Third level, 6 flights of stairs. No elevator!!

Our host, Luca, was very helpful at checking and provided a lot of information. There were wonderful restaurants nearby and so handy to have the grocery store just around the corner. It was a 30 minute walk to St Mark’s Square. It was lovely being on a canal and being able to watch the gondolas go by from the small balcony. The only challenge was the 6 flights of stairs with luggage. Everything was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay! The apartment was in a great location- close to a grocery store and restaurants. We were happy to have two bathrooms, which made our mornings faster, and we washed our clothes- it was mid trip for us. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. Luca was an amazing host. His detailed communications made our arrival to Venice stress-free … he even went out of his way to meet and greet us at the station. The property was as advertised … clean, close to the Venezia Santa Lucia Station, with many restaurants and attractions near by. The property had everything we needed which comfortably accommodated our family of five adults … we had no issues during our stay. Luca even gave us an overview of Venice, with food recommendations and travel tips. Definitely would recommend this property.

Lovely time with my kids

Single mom traveling with kids, this place was perfect! Lovely and responsive host. Great central location. We took a water taxi from the airport and docked right at the property. A truly unique and magical start to the trip. Beautiful view and everyone got their own rooms! Right upstairs from a market, super convenient. We got to watch the July fireworks from the balcony! Just a wonderful place and stay!
