This is an exceptional apartment in an equally exceptional neighborhood. Jane was gracious and very helpful. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Pictures do not do it justice. We had the very best experience and will surely return. Five stars all around.

Perfect! Jane was the best VRBO host we’ve ever had. Very communicative from booking until our check out. Jane even personally arranged our water taxi given our complete ignorance as to that process. She even did so in person for our departure to ensure excellent service.The apartment was immaculately clean, well stocked with linens and cookware, and quite luxurious. It is centrally located with shops and restaurants within a couple minutes.Jane's son, Michael, met us when we arrived to walk us to the apartment and show us the features. Michael was also very helpful with other suggestions and recommendations...be sure to take advantage of him as a resource.

Great apartment in Venice

We loved our stay in this apartment. It was perfect and just like the pictures. Jane was great and met us at the boat to take us to the apartment. Her son, Michael, took us on a private boat tour of Murano and Burano and I would highly recommend. Overall we had a perfect stay in Venice

Beautiful apartment, spacious living areas, we walked everywhere from here. Comfortable beds, great eateries nearby. We also cooked at home, no problem. Loved it.

Hidden Gem

This property is spectacular assuming you want a real Venice experience. It is everything you want - on canal, well located to shopping and landmarks, spacious, and the owner/managers (especially Jane and her husband) could not be better. It made our stay very special.

Fabulous Venice apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was really spacious and clean, with modern bathrooms, while also having traditional artwork and features. It is located in the perfect area, close to major landmarks but with a local feel and so many restaurants and cafes close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Place

What a great stay in Venice!

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Jane was very prompt in our communications. She had her son meet us at the water bus stop and take us to her villa, as we were late and she had to work. She also set up a water taxi return to the airport. The Villa is beautiful with plenty of room for up to 4 couples. Lots of great places to eat nearby.

Fabulous place in Venice

We were four friends traveling from the states who found this place perfect for a Venice stay. It is close to everything yet away from the craziness of San Marco and tourists. Jane is a great host, communicating before our arrival and facilitating our arrival and departure, which can be tricky in Venice! Totally recommend it!

Perfect Venice get away

This property is conveniently located within walking distance of numerous good restaurants. Nicely decorated and we thought that it was very fairly priced. Jane, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

This aparment was wonderful! Seven adults joined me for a 50th birthday bash during Carnivale! The location was perfect, far enough for the crowds yet easy to walk to everything. The apartment is spacious and comfortably accomodated 7 adults. The apartment exeeded expectations every room has a water view! Jane was respinsive and kind. Her son Michael was a wonderful suprise arrangung our water taxis to and for the airports and train stations. He was also able to arrange a private boat to Murano and Burano for a day. We also road to one of our parties in a traditinal boat around the island Michael arranged for us. Overall we had a wonderful time and would stay here again!room has a vie

Fabulous Find!

What a great property. Beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and lovely family room with the beautiful balcony. Rooms are well appointed and beds very comfortable. The best part is the closeness to all things, restaurants, shopping, boardwalk, ATM, etc. We walked everywhere. And of course, in July, the air conditioning was a lifesaver. Host responded quickly, gave excellent recommendations, and even arranged transportation to the train and airport for our group. We would love to come back!

Great place and property manager

In a very old city, this apartment is fully restored with AC. It is just off the tourist path, but you are a 5 minute walk to the heart of Venice. The place is nicer than the photos and bigger. The property manager and her family did everything they could to make our visit smooth and enjoyable. Jane - the Property Manger communicated with us ahead of time to make sure arrival would be without issues. Her husband (Luigi) and son (Michael) met us at the drop-off point to make sure we got in ok. Her son also runs a service to help with sightseeing, I found the prices to be aligned with others, but the quality seemed higher. First he was able to coordinate a private water taxi to and from the airport. ( Worth every penny). Second he helped us arrange a sightseeing tour to the outer islands. Again, beautiful private boat and tour guide. Funny enough, we booked late and he was over booked, so to get us in his father volunteered to be our guide. He’s lived on the island for 35 years and knew many people and sites. Again, it is a great place, but also a great local family to know when you on the island.

Rude obnoxious unhelpful host

Jane offered zero assistance finding the property very late at night. The explanation pushed for was inaccurate and provided in capitalisation where her poor instructions led to confusion. We were met at gone midnight in the end, with a rant that we had kept her up!! Previously when our flight was due to get us there around 11:15pm, we were told she might not be back from her concert in time to let us in! The rant continued along with a demand for €72 in cash for a local tax?! She was exasperated that we didn’t have the cash for this payment we knew nothing about and we received another Jane rant. She demanded to collect the cash the next day to which I asked if I could transfer it as we would prefer our 2 day visit wasn’t disturbed. Finally she left! Next day the details she provided didn’t work so I went out to find a cash machine. There was one virtually outside!!! Why wouldn’t she have said when she demanded the money the previous evening! I hoped we could leave it to be collected when we left but no! So I asked her to suggest a convenient time to collect. She completely ignored me and let herself into the apartment late the next morning. We were out but my adult son was asleep in bed and could’ve walked out to find her!! The apartment was lovely but not the grand accommodation the photos suggest. Jane’s conduct was upsetting and spoiled our holiday.

Upscale apartment with lots of charm. It has been well maintained; excellent air conditioning; very clean. Our host,Jane, was most accommodating, and helped us arrange transportation both from the airport and to our cruise ship at Fusina a few days later. We also enjoyed meeting her son, Michael, who took us on a boat tour of both Murano and Burano. Would not hesitate to rent this again the next time we come to Venice.

Excellent host with excellent apartment away from crowds

This was a wonderful place to stay in Venice. Family of 6 with 4 kids that don't want to share a bed (18, 15, 15, 13). It was incredibly hot and humid but air conditioning worked great. Very expensive Murano glass fixtures all over the place -- classic decor. Excellent affordable food close by; great coffee shop and gelato place (higher rated than the "popular" places on the crowded path between Rialto Bridge and San Marco. Turn right out of the door, cross the bridge and walk about 30 seconds. Great sandwiches and pastries for breakfast and awesome final Gelato of the day before ending the day.Jane is a fantastic host; Communicates very quickly. Her son Michael does private tours of Murano/Burano -- you get VIP treatment. Do it. At the glass blowing demonstration, everybody else was hot on bleachers; we had cold water at a reserved table next to the Master. We also got to tour the actual blowing workshop (didn't see anybody "public" in that area). He gave us options for lunch. The best part about his tour was that he worked around us -- a long or as little time as we wanted. So much better than a big group tour. And his prices were cheaper than other private tours.Jane arranged transfers from the airport and back -- to give you an idea on prices, compared to prices via Whatsapp directly with the taxi companies, it was 10% cheaper. If I could have 1 thing, I would wish for onsite washer/dryer, but there is a laundrymat 2 mins away.Thanks, Jane and Michael!

What a special place. It was a privilege to stay here on this trip with our three young adult children. Jane and Luigi gave boat-to-door service. Micheal’s boat trip was delightful. Kitchen was well equipped with coffee, milk, juice, plenty of cooking supplies. A/C worked well. Overall a beautifully renovated place but with timeless architecture and decor. Highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment, spacious and beautifully appointed with everything we needed. Jane was very welcoming and helpful with connecting us to services etc. Michael, her son does a great tour of Murano, Burano etc very nice guy and well connected to get you what you want to see.Nespresso compatible coffee machine and kettle - yay! Fabulous flat in Venice

The owners were so kind and met us at our boat to show us how to get to the apartment and checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything. They arranged a boat for us when we were leaving to get to the airport. And their son took us on a wonderful tour of Murano and abutano. Thanks darling thank you honey.It was a fabulous stay and we hope to visit again!

Great location!

Everything was very clean and there was plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Lots of space for our family of 7. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. We did a visit to the nearby islands with Jane’s son which was great! Overall had a great time!
