This beautiful, well appointed apartment was perfectly located for our long weekend with visits to Biltmore Estate, River Arts District, and restaurants. I especially liked that it's in a wooded area with little to no traffic.
Very comfortable and relaxing VRBO. From the decorating to heavy nice towels to comfortable beds, this place is a must stay in Asheville. You are only 1 1/2 miles from town so the location is perfect. We will definitely come back for another stay!!
Thoughtfully furnished, spotlessly clean, eclectic wooded in-town neighborhood close to everything, responsive but non-intrusive on site hosts, and comfy beds. We had a lovely stay.
We so enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable and immaculately clean spacious apartment. The hosts were gracious and helpful, but little was needed in help as everything was arranged so thoughtfully. Highly recommend if you are ever in the area!
Cute apartment tucked away at end of street, making it feel like you’re in the mountains despite being right outside of downtown. Great location for seeing a concert at The Salvage Station and for exploring downtown. Fantastic accommodations! Great communication by hosts. Would stay here again.
The space was extremely clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our walks to the downtown area, and enjoyed seeing the neighborhood gardens. Thanks!
My daughter and I stayed here for three days and it was fantastic. Alexis made us feel very welcome. The suite was clean and well furnished, and the small amenities were a nice touch. We were close to everything and the neighborhood is idyllic. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Amazing Guests!!!! So sweet and so respectful of the space. We would welcome them again and recommend them highly
We encountered a pretty big snafu upon checking in but texted Alexis and she immediately called. The situation was corrected promptly and with many apologies. The space was perfect for us and had many nice touches included. Neighborhood was very cute and a great location. We would stay again!

Thank you for your review and understanding. We do everything we can to make sure that our guest's experiences are comfortable, enjoyable, and smooth, and while this is the first time we have had a snafu in our 6 years of hosting, we always make sure we are by the phone and ready to act. I am really happy we were able to address it immediately so that it did not impact your stay, and we made sure to address the cause so it never happens again.
I am so glad your stay was enjoyable and you all are welcome back.
Our stay ened up being shortened by a full day . But, for the little time we were there it was lovely. The space is well appointed and ecp frienly. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Enjoyed our stay. Well kept, with nice ammenities. Comfortable for two couples or a family of four. At night arrival could use a little more lighting….ran into a bear and cub which was exciting but probably would have been better responded to if we had a little
More light to have observed them. Second bedroom could use a new bed. Otherwise, terrific!
We were spending the weekend between camp sessions for my daughter and before my son departed for a longer road trip out west. We had the space to be together but not too close together, the comfort of a beautiful and well appointed space and the proximity to town to do everything we wanted within a very short drive.
The hosts were responsive and helpful with the simple questions we had. I would highly recommend it.
Very nice 2 bedroom unit. Clean comfortable and great communication. For the extra cleaning fee and host fee associated I do not think we should have been responsible for stripping beds and emptying trash.
This was the perfect place for our quick 2 night stay in Asheville. The unit is cozy and the art/furniture are very tastefully done. As parents of three young boys, we really appreciated the craft beers that were waiting for us in the fridge after a long ride into town with the kids. My wife is a little bit of a germaphobe and even she was impressed that this place was not only clean, but it was absolutely spotless. Alexis was an amazing host. I highly recommend her place.

Hi Jeff. Thank you for such an incredibly kind review. Y'all are great guests
Clean & beautiful space with 2 bedrooms on opposite sides. Nicely decorated. Cute as can be. Close to everything. One of us had to park on the muddy narrow street and walk down dark driveway so be aware if you are in more than 1 car. Could sometimes hear footsteps above from owners but not overwhelming.
This was our first stay in the Montford area and I enjoyed learning more about that part of Asheville - great food and a really fun ebike ride. Our hosts' hospitality exceeded our expectations! Making us feel welcome and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. A/C and Wifi worked fine. Very pleasant lighting inside and out. Comfy couch. The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels. The house is at the very end of the street which feels a little remote - that was mentioned in the description. To be exact, there is a half-mile of walkable road between the driveway and the sidewalks. It's a little overgrown but there's a really fine treasure at the end of the road!!

About the host
Hosted by Alexis D
I live in Asheville, NC. I travel all over the world with my non profit Playing to Live, and I have stayed in short term rentals from Europe to Africa. I am an art therapist in Asheville, and when I am not traveling I spend a lot of time in the national forest mountain biking and hiking. I enjoy painting and sewing, which you will see all over my short term rentals space.
After staying in so many short term rentals, I am excited to host in my brand new home. When I travel I gather handmade items and fabric, which I am so excited to have displayed in my short term rentals apartment. I also have a strong Appalachian background, so it has been fun to combine the two aesthetics.
Why they chose this property
We bought this house because it stood out from every other property we looked at. We have the benefit of being 1.5 from town as well as in one of the most sought after neighborhoods, but we also live next to a farm and are situated on top of a hill that gives us tons of privacy. It is a brand new house (finished in December 2017) and is also green certified. We absolutely love our home.
