This is a very comfortable beachfront home, with direct beach access. It has all you need to relax, make a meal and to entertain guests... in fact we celebrated my wife's birthday during our stay. Close enough to Charleston's attractions and Kiawah Island to explore or just have beach day. Great stay!
Great location. Easy access to town, and to grocery store. Unfortunately, we came on a week where the weather was really crummy. So we stayed inside and watched the wind, the rain, and the waves.
clean .bed with bathroom attached good but small bedrooms and both bathrooms very tiny...but "newly remodeled"?? painted yes kitchen cabinets old ....pots /pans very scratched garbage disposal not working, also very dark in driveway , need some type of lites along driveway so when you drive in you can see . my first look at rentals is it clean This rental is but because its location is awesome , guess the inside is not a wow...we pd a lot of money for a 4 nite stay in endof nov to dec 2 ...it was our anniversary beach view gorgeous , house just ok

Good location
When we arrived, we saw that the one lamp in the master bedroom had no switch. You had to turn it off and on by unplugging and plugging. There is a table/bookcase as you enter that the second shelf is broken. It does seem that as much as these houses cost per night, that someone would check to make sure that things are working and not broken.
The location of this house is perfect! It’s away from all the busy parts of folly, and you have plently of beach area to let kids play and feel safe with minimal folks around. (We stayed July 4th week) The house is not fancy. There are a lot of upgrades needed, but overall it was perfect for a week long vacation with a family that had more kids than adults. We had some issues with the plumbing and someone came out right away. There was a miscommunication about delivery of a new sofa sleeper and once we finally did get one, the property manager even gave us a tiny refund for our bed shortage. You have to use the public beach access to get to the beach but you have a private gate that connects right to a shower to rinse your feet before you head upstairs. That was very convenient. The house was quite affordable for an ocean front and the views each morning were worth every penny!

Renter beware! If you still have time to cancel, do so! This property was not as described. Newly remodeled; not so much. In addition to the lack of pride in ownership and upkeep, the property was filthy and in disrepair. The filth was not from the previous renters, but "old dirt" that has built up over time. The contact was made aware of the issues and my displeasure and the response was "sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the property, would you like the housekeepers to return?" Completely ignored the fact that the property was not as advertised. The decks and stairs are in disrepair, with nail pops and mismatched decking in the back. There were numerous notes that the AC could not operate below 72 degrees with threats that it would ice up and we would be charged. They installed a small window AC to supplement. While I understand that they want to reduce electrical costs, maybe they should install a unit that can cool the entire house; the primary bedroom was the warmest room in the house, even with the vents closed in the other rooms. The house was musty and damp, to the point that we had to purchase damp-rid and air fresheners to combat the odor. The dryer, while working, is so loud that they put up a sign to say so and suggest you close the door when running it. A sure sign that they are aware of the issue and are "taking the cheap way out" and failing to invest in the disrepair. As I shared with Vacasa; I could not be more disappointed in the misrepresentation.
