We stayed here while moving our son into the dorms at Oregon State, and this place was perfect for the occasion. The studio was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is very quiet, which was great after long days on campus. Terry was a thoughtful host and made check-in simple, which was appreciated. The location worked well for us—just a short drive to campus. We’d be happy to stay here again on future visits.
This is a really fun studio style space. It's very clean and feels very private despite being an above-the-garage unit. I really enjoyed the stay and would certainly recommend it.
Appreciated being able to check in a little early. Very comfortable bed and good amount of space to hang out. Uber is available to get into town if needed. Responsive and friendly host. Appreciated the full size fridge and other amenities in the kitchen.

Perfect peace and quiet
Very nice accommodation's in country surroundings. We enjoyed our second stay here. No freeway noise yet close to everything we needed. Very reasonable price .
We had a great stay at this property. Everything was as expected from the VRBO profile and we loved this area of Oregon. This location provided us the ability to make short day trips to the coast, to Eugene, and for hiking at Silver Falls.
This was one of the best stays- the description is accurate, and the place was absolutely spotless. The hosts were attentive and available if needed. The environment was beautiful and quiet. If you’re looking for a restful place near Corvallis - this is the place for you!
The property is beautiful and our host's (including Daisy) are really sweet. Better than staying in a noisy busy hotel for sure! And we had complimentary popcorn to enjoy with Stuart Little :)
We stayed at the Old Rock Quarry Studio for the weekend while visiting our Oregon State University student. Lodging worked out perfectly. Go, Beavs!

Cozy Getaway
This little addition over the garage is lovely. It is well laid out, comfortable, well supplied and in a beautiful location. We saw four deer one morning as we were going down the driveway. The owners were friendly and thoughtful during our stay. We loved the proximity to beautiful hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the space, it was clean, well stocked, easy to find, Quiet, nicely decorated
Cindy and Terry were great to work with, I would totally plan on another trip to this place,
and will recommend to friends for sure
We really enjoyed our stay. Terry made everything so easy. The studio apartment felt large, was clean, great surroundings, it was wonderful. The only reason for our 4-Star rating is that we also needed to do some work during our stay and the internet was very spotty, which required us to adjust our plans a bit. So if you're unplugging, this is a fabulous home to do so.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Perfect for our short trip to Corvallis to visit our son. One quirk to the property is the door to the studio is half window and there is no shade or curtain covering it. Would be fine if it weren’t a studio and the bed right in front of the door. It’s on the second floor and location is pretty secluded but even so, would be nice to have the option to have some privacy when sleeping or changing clothes.
This was my first solo trip and first time in the Pacific Northwest. The location, atmosphere, and administrative ease of this property was exactly what was needed. Centrally located to explore the varied beauty of Oregon within a short drive, secluded and felt like you were out of a city with morning coffee to watch deer and foxes frolic, but only a few minutes drive to food and essentials. Absolutely perfect. And I will say that while i was by myself, my two kids have asked me to take them, and there will be plenty of space for all three of us to return! Terry was amazing and great communication and very accommodating! One of the best VRBO hosts that I've ever had!
We enjoyed our stay here very much. It's a comfortable little apartment with all the amenities. Terry, our host was very nice and communicative. He sent us a text the day before our arrival with all our check-in information and left the lights on for us since we were arriving late. The next day we met Terry out on the patio, talked, and shared our love for the outdoors.
The property is about 6 miles away from downtown Corvallis, which was not a problem for us. It is close to the Peavy Arboretum and many beautiful hiking trails. The property has a peaceful patio area where you can sit and have your morning coffee while watching the wildlife. I would reach out to Terry again should we return to Corvallis.
Terry, thank you for hosting us, and hope your trip was bountiful.
It was very comfortable once I got to my location. The GPS to the location is off just a little bit as my cab driver dropped me off below where the address really was which resulted in a tiring walk up the rocky incline until i reached their approach and was at the proper location. The place was clean and cozy. I was disappointed in how gross the coffee maker was which I cleaned before I officially settled in for my stay. It was cold on the first night and the heating and A/C unit was locked to only blow cool air, which made the first night very chilly. The 2nd and 3rd night were much warmer as I believe they left a heater on in the garage below the unit which made the floor and room much more warmer the next nights. It would of been nice if some more apps were unlocked or digned in I could have watched a better variety of shows, but it was ok for as long as I stayed there. It was very cool to see all the wildlife roaming the area. I saw several mule deer when my cab dropped me off the 2nd day. It did rain almost my entire trip, so I wasnt exploring the property that much, but I would definitly stay there again if given the opportunity.
This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and it's very nice and in a great location. My only recommendation is a better shower head and possibly one with an adjustable height - it's placed really high in a very small shower, so as a shorter person I have no choice but to get totally blasted in the face by the shower water!
Short visit to Corvallis. The Old Rock Quarry Studio was perfect!

About the host
Hosted by Terry Forney
Our names are Terry & Cindy and our son's name is Jonathan (19). We have lived in this area for almost 23 years. We moved here from Colorado where we met and decided to move to Oregon to pursue a job opportunity. We enjoy the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, crabbing, the Oregon Beaches and the OSU Beaver sports, especially football and baseball!
Why they chose this property
We chose this property simply because of its highly desirable Northern Corvallis country side where we are far enough out to enjoy a quiet area with wildlife, more space and probably the most unique 3.3 acre parcel you will find in the area! We love Corvallis because of its diversity, OSU and HP. Corvallis seems to hold a very highly educated population! :-)
What makes this property unique
We really think you will enjoy our vacation rental and our unique property. We have enjoyed meeting previous tenants and answering questions about what the area has to offer. You will enjoy the views and the comfort of our vacation rental. You will enjoy the most unique piece of property in Corvallis! We provide two complimentary bakery items, a start for coffee & cream, dish and laundry detergent for our guests.
