The property was beautiful, the house was exceptionally maintained, it had everything you need. I thought it was going to be a bit more secluded… we were hoping to see Moose traveling through the yard from the balcony, but the houses were so close we didn’t see any wildlife… that wasn’t an issue though.

True North sits on a 2 acre piece of property within the community of Powder Ridge which is 4 miles from Sunday River. While we are not deep in the woods our property is very secluded in the spring summer and fall. With the trees losing their leaves in the winter a view of the ski mountain is established. We have seen moose, bear and deer on our property. It’s has to be in the evening and be very quiet. It’s hit or miss but we have seen them walk through the property. We are glad you enjoyed our home and hope to have you return to catch a glimpse of the moose
Beautiful house in an excellent location, 6 minutes from Sunday River South Lodge! The hosts were very communicative and helpful, and helped make our ski vacation unforgettable!
Gorgeous property with great proximity to the mountain. Plenty of space for adults to relax and kids to play. The property was in excellent condition - clean and comfortable!
This is our second time staying and I will definitely book again. Ed is amazing, the place is amazing and 5 minutes from the mountain. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and look forward to coming back soon!
We absolutely loved staying at True North. Ed was an amazing host with great communication. The house was clean, beautiful, and very comfortable for our two families to stay at. The location was perfect and very close to Sunday River. We had a great weekend and will absolutely be back!
True North as absolutely perfect for our holiday family get together. My wife and I hosted our son and daughter with significant others plus five grandkids (0 to 5 in age). Spent the days sledding just outside the front door and good times in the evening, enough space for everyone to spread out. Location to Sunday River Resort, was ideal. Definitely looking to return. Host (Ed) was great communicator.
We had a wonderful stay at True North. Everything was spotlessly clean, which means a lot to me! The location is great for Sunday River skiing. I’d stay here again anytime! The owners were great to communicate with and we would rent this lovely home again without reservation!
