THE FEELING YOU GET HERE

From the moment you step through the door, you'll feel it—that exhale, that shoulder drop, that "we made it" sensation. The vaulted ceilings, exposed log beams, and warm wood tones wrap you in immediate coziness. The knotty pine floors creak slightly—in a good way, a "this place has character" way. You're not in some cookie-cutter rental. You're in a real mountain home built with intention and care.

YOUR MOUNTAIN DAYS

Morning light filters through the trees as you make your first cup of coffee. You settle into the living room with a throw blanket, maybe light the gas fireplace if there's a chill, and plan your day—adventure or doing absolutely nothing.

But here's what you'll really fall in love with: the sunsets. As afternoon turns to evening, the western sky becomes an ever-changing canvas of oranges, pinks, and purples stretching across the southern peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains and rolling over the gentle hills of the Georgia Piedmont below. You'll spot the Atlanta skyline twinkling about 70 miles south. This is when everyone gravitates outside, drinks in hand, to watch the sun sink behind the mountain peaks.

MAIN LEVEL

Primary Master Suite: The wood-burning fireplace crackles while you're cocooned in the softest sheets. French doors open to the deck where sunset views greet you each evening. The ensuite bathroom features an authentic Jacuzzi tub perfect after hiking, walk-in shower with double vanity, and walk-in closet.

Living Room: Vaulted ceilings soar above the gas fireplace with remote control operation. Smart TV, plush seating, and full deck access with mountain and sunset views.

Dining & Screened Porch: Table seats six comfortably—the kind of spot where breakfast stretches into late morning. Adjacent to the dining room, the screened porch offers bug-free outdoor dining, reading, or conversation.

Additional Bedrooms: Bedroom 2: King bed. Bedroom 3: Queen bed. Both share a full bathroom. Two half baths on main level.

LOWER LEVEL

Family Room: Second living space with Smart TV for movies, cartoons, or separate activities.

Game Room: Electronic air hockey, Xbox gaming system, board games, puzzles, cards, books, Lincoln Logs. Queen cuddle couch converts to bed with ensuite bathroom—functions as fourth bedroom. Perfect for teens who want to stay up late gaming.

Laundry Room: Washer, dryer, starter detergent, dryer balls. First aid kit located here.

OUTDOOR SPACES

Upper Deck: Sunset Command Center Full deck with panoramic views. After morning fog burns off, you'll catch Atlanta's skyline 70 miles south. Western exposure delivers spectacular sunsets as the sun descends behind the Blue Ridge peaks, painting the sky in orange, pink, and purple.

Outdoor dining furniture, propane grill, comfortable seating. The real magic happens at golden hour when the temperature cools and the sky explodes with color.

Lower Patio & Hot Tub: After exploring Big Canoe's trails, fishing, or pickleball, sink into the brand-new 6-seat hot tub. Views of mountain landscape and on clear evenings, Atlanta's twinkling lights across the Piedmont. The juxtaposition is magical—mountain wilderness meets distant city lights.

Our girls' trip to this luxury cabin in Big Canoe was absolutely perfect! This property is perfect for a girls' getaway where you want both outdoor fun and pampering. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the host was incredibly responsive to our questions. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in our own private mountain retreat. The cabin is beautifully decorated with the perfect balance of cozy mountain charm and luxury touches. We were so impressed by the thoughtful details! Makeup removal towels, quality shampoo, K-cups for morning coffee, and even maps of the area trails - everything we needed was already there. These are exactly the kinds of touches that women appreciate, and it made our stay feel truly special. We had two favorite activities that made this weekend perfect. First, hiking the beautiful trails within Big Canoe's secure conservation area (the waterfall trail was absolutely stunning!), then ending each day soaking in the hot tub with the most incredible views - you can see for miles, and at night the lights of the Atlanta skyline twinkle in the distance. Second, wine tasting and live music at the nearby Fainting Goat Winery. It was the ideal balance of adventure and relaxation for our girls' weekend! We're already planning our next trip back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury mountain retreat that doesn't miss a single detail.

About the host

Our journey began thirty-four years ago, in the most unexpected of places—South Korea, where two young soldiers found not just their calling, but each other. It was there, half a world away from home, that we fell in love and discovered our shared passion for exploring the beauty of new places.

After our military service, we planted roots in Georgia, building careers in technology while our hearts remained restless for adventure. We chased sunsets across continents and collected memories in every corner of the globe. Years later, our love story came full circle when we returned to South Korea—the place where it all began—to adopt our two children, forever linking our family to the land where our romance first bloomed.

Yet through all our travels, we've discovered that the misty mountains and whispering forests of North Georgia have captured our hearts in a way nowhere else has. There's something magical about these hills—the way the morning fog settles in the valleys, the crystal-clear streams perfect for fishing, and trails that lead to breathtaking vistas.

But what makes it truly special is sharing it with the people we love. Whether we're hiking with family, casting lines with friends, or simply snuggling around a crackling fireplace on a cool mountain evening, we've learned that the greatest adventures are the ones we share together. Now, we're excited to open our doors and share this mountain paradise with you.

Why they chose this property

Finding this haven felt like destiny. After months of searching for our perfect mountain retreat, we stumbled upon a picturesque traditional cabin online and instantly fell head over heels. But the real magic revealed itself when we discovered it was nestled within Big Canoe—an extraordinary conservation community unlike any other, where nature is protected and cherished for generations to come.
We didn't hesitate. Within moments of learning about this special place, we made our offer, our minds already filled with dreams of cozy weekends and cherished memories waiting to be made. This is our part-time sanctuary, our escape from the everyday, and it brings us joy beyond measure.
Now, we're thrilled to share it with you. We hope you'll fall in love with it just as we did—and create your own unforgettable moments in our beloved mountain home.

What makes this property unique

We named our home "Endless Views" for a reason—because the vista before you literally stretches as far as the eye can see, a breathtaking panorama that changes with Mother Nature's every mood.
Some mornings, you'll wake to the Georgia Piedmont draped in ethereal mist, the mountains rising like dreams through layers of soft fog. On crystal-clear days, the view opens up even further, revealing the glittering Atlanta skyline shimmering on the distant horizon—a reminder of how far you've escaped from the everyday world.
But it's the sunsets that steal our hearts every time. As the sun melts into the horizon, painting the endless sky in shades of amber, rose, and gold, you'll understand why we can never get enough of this view. And if you visit during baseball season, you might be treated to an extra surprise—fireworks blooming over the Braves stadium in the distance, adding a touch of magic to an already spectacular evening.
Yet even without the fireworks, the view remains exactly as nature intended it—pure, unspoiled, and absolutely unforgettable.
