About the host

I'm originally from the Panama Canal Zone and visit the country regularly.
Why they chose this property
The neighbors on both sides and across the street are friendly, as are most people you may encounter on the sidewalks. This is a fantastic neighborhood for walking. A quarter-mile away and up the hill are wonderful views of both the bay and ocean, with architectural styles that completely run the gamut. The unique Stumps Market is about a half mile away, as are a handful of restaurants. Ocean Beach is two miles away, Liberty Station even less distance.
What makes this property unique
Except for modern conveniences, this house has not been modified since it was built over 85 years ago. You get a sense for why long-term residents have chosen to make it a home. I have owned it since 1995.
