I loved my stay at Jackalope Cove. The house was spacious, spotless and thoughtfully equipped — especially the kitchen. The beds were fantastic, and the uncluttered layout made it easy to settle in and feel at home. I worked remotely during the day and spent my evenings outside with a book, enjoying the lake views and wildlife. Even in the heat of Texas summer, the outdoor space was calm and inviting. A beautiful spot for anyone wanting comfort among nature. The hosts were gracious, communicative and helpful! We will definitely stay here again.
Spotlessly clean. We found the kitchen to be well supplied and spacious. Extremely comfortable beds. Everyone slept well. Plenty of hot water. Quiet area but easily accessible. Communications were prompt and clear. If we return to the area we’ll look for this property to be available.
This is a beautiful home and it is nicely stocked with everything you need. Kudos to the owners! The kitchen is lovely and wonderful to use. Just bring yourselves and beach towels. Our dogs loved the lake access and had a great time swimming. There was a hose outside to rinse them off and the back/side patio has a railing/fence with a gate so they could hang out there and dry. We floated in the inlet and it was so peaceful. Only one boat came down there fishing, but it's not far to the main section of the lake if you want to get out there. There's a water cooler if you have a lot of people and want to bring your own jug. The bed and couch were comfy and there are plenty of places to sit and eat or relax. 10/10 recommend!!!
Great place. Pictures do not give justice. We were able to be there when the lake was full, my dog even went for a swim. Now for the best part house is 95% wheelchair accessible, which is what we needed the most. Other than 2steps to get in and out both in the front and porch the first floor was able to accommodate a wheelchair and walker. Will recommend and return if needed.
