Another great stay!

This is the second time renting this condo. We knew it had all the amenities needed for a perfect stay, including every thing you could need for a perfect beach day. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is the best! We are looking forward to renting a third time!

Midnight Cove II is an excellent place to stay. We love the pickleball and tennis and beach. We love to walk to the village. The people at Midnight Cove II are friendly and fun. The condo was exactly as described.

Fun in the sun

We had such a fun time. The people are very friendly. If you enjoy court sports you will love the round robin tennis and pickleball. The beach is beautiful and the village is great for dinners out.

Very well equipped apartment, and a great swimming pool

We really enjoyed our vacation. The swimming pool is great. There is a lot of space in the apartment, and everything is very clean and in a good condition. The kitchen and the apartment in general has all the needed amenities, including beach beds/chairs/umbrellas, and even tennis rockets.

Beautiful Views and A Great Pool

This property had everything you would ever need for a family vacation. Beach chairs, a wagon, trash bags, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies. We really love this location. The property is on the 3rd floor but very close to the pool and a few minute walk to the beach.

Condo was wonderful and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It also had a beach wagon, beach chairs/umbrellas, toys, coolers and everything for a perfect beach day. Complex grounds were beautiful and quiet. I would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future myself!

Excellent location and facilities

We loved Midnight Cove II and the condo was the right size for us. Well stocked and good design. The long couch needs replacement and some of the screens have holes, which let in bugs. The screen to the back door does not open except with great exertion.

We're truly sorry to hear that you didn't have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. -We have remodeled the living room furniture as of April 2022. While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort we're sorry the furniture didn't meet your preferences and guests seem very happy with it. We understand taste in design is subjective so not everyone will be pleased. -Regarding the screens, the property manager is investigating your complaint and will take prompt and appropriate action to remedy the deficiencies. The back screens are not intended to move since prior guests were repeatedly walking into them, causing damage. We are considering completely removing them. We will be visiting the property soon to review it and any needed changes. We hope to have another opportunity to host you in the future!"

Great place

This was a well appointed condo in a great location with access to Crescent Beach! The unit is up to date and had most everything you could need. It was not an issue for us but this unit is on the 3rd level of the building with no elevator access. The management company was responsive to our one problem...the sliding door handle was broken. However, they said someone would come fix it and no one did. Luckily we were still able to get the door open and enjoy the outdoor deck anyways! The only other complaint is that the twin mattresses were really uncomfortable and the springs could be felt on the surface. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed our stay!

Unit was “Ok”

The unit was ok. There were a lot of “little” things that were annoyances. Tv kept going out, the ceiling plaster was falling off, the comforter in the twin bed room had some stains to the point should have been replaced, broken blinds, and the washer was very tricky to use, and we were not able to use Midnjght Cove chairs on the beach because we were Midnight Cove II. Overall, it did serve the purpose but did expect a little more for the price.

There are beach chairs and a buggy in the unit for guests to take to the beach, but we're sorry you were unaware of these items. because of our flight we arrived after business hours. upon getting ready for bed we found the guest room bedroom (2 single beds) had dirty/stained sheets and comforter. after a trip to Walmart to buy clean sheets and a comforter we were finally able to get to bed. the next we realized we had no tv. it kept saying no signal. after a day of trying multiple ways to correct the problem I finally realized that someone had disconnected all the cable boxes at both the surge protector and at the back of the tv’s. after that everything was fine

They are always available to address any concerns promptly and would have been more than happy to bring additional sheets right away. We truly regret any inconvenience caused and encourage our guests to communicate with us, as your comfort is of the utmost importance to us. -As for the unplugged items, we understand that it must have been an oversight by the previous guest. It's something we encounter from time to time, and we are unsure of the reason as well. Midnight cove stay

This property was like someone had moved their grandparents out for a week and rented their home. It was not set up as a rental property. The kitchen cupboards were rammed with stuff and there was not a single place we could put a few groceries The crockery and silverware was all old and miss matched. Everything was dated. No wine glasses except a few old plastic ones. Mattress protector was stained as were pillows. Second bedroom cupboard was rammed with junk and needed a good clear out. One of the sofas was collapsed. Place needed a good freshen up and clear out. Could have been so much better with a few dollars spent on small upgrades.

After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to address the following items: - We have proudly been renting this property for guests to enjoy for almost five years. - Numerous past guests have expressed how well the kitchen is stocked, and everything is there for their stay. We add to the kitchen silverware and crockery when pieces get broken or lost, however, it is not reasonable to replace a whole set each time. - We have our local Guest Contact check items such as the mattress protector and pillowcases to ensure they are in good condition. We will discuss your comments with them. - We provide extra amenities for our guests, such as tennis racquets, a basketball, an iron, a mini ironing board, and basic cleaning supplies. While these items take up some storage space, most guests appreciate having them provided, and there is still room for guests to store their belongings. - The living room furniture was purchased in April 2022. The cushions on the pull-out do sink in a bit, but it isn't collapsed. It doesn't affect comfort and just needs to be repositioned. - Our guest contact has added some wine glasses. We will be visiting the property soon to review it and any needed changes. The owners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

An more than adequate that could stand some improvement.

The unit was adequately equipped with nice, newly remodeled bathrooms. Covered parking was a plus. The washing machine was a problem - had to have someone come over to get it started. It wouldn't start again. Simply gave up after that. Mattresses and box springs in both bedrooms need to be replaced. Sliding glass door has issues. I thought someone had left a whoopee cushion under the couch but I was wrong. It makes the same noise every time you sit down or stand up. The complex is well maintained - grounds, pool area, and walkways around the dock areas. Beach access is across (Midnight Pass Road) but a well maintained right of way. I rented a bike and it was stolen in spite of being locked. Not the owners fault. Maintenance guys said it wasn't the first time. The overall feel of Midnight Cove II is more like an apartment complex. With correction of the items mentioned it would be greatly improved.

Tolle Lage aber schmutziges Apartment

Die Lage der Wohnung war einmalig schön. Leider war die Wohnung schmutzig in jeglicher Hinsicht, Asstattung und die Böden die sicher schon lange keinen Mop mehr gesehen. Ich fand auch eine Shorts unter meinem Bett welches wohl dem Vorgänger gehört hatte und welches die mangelnde Reinigung bestätigt. Das Inventar war alt und die Couch im Wohnzimmer nicht als Bett zu gebrauchen (Bettfedern standen heraus und taten beim Liegen weh). Ferner waren die Schränke und auch teilweise die Schubladen vollgepackt mit irgendwelchen Sachen, sodass man kaum Platz hatte die eigenen Sachen/Kleider unterzubringen. Die Küche war ein komplettes Chaos, kaum Besteck und die Schränke mit unnötigen Sachen von Vormietern beladen. Die Betten waren alt, mit billigen Bettlaken aus Synthetik überzogen und die Bettdecke war wohl auch nicht gewaschen. Die Balkontüre lässt sich nicht verschliessen. Wir haben es gemeldet und es ist wohl ein Handwerker in unserer Abwesenheit gekommen. DAs Problem ist aber nicht gelöst. Zum Glück waren wir im dritten Stock. Wir würden dringend raten die Wohnung einmal auszumisten, durchzureinigen und komplett neu einzurichten. Vor allem die Wohnzimmercouch sollte entsorgt werden. Die Reinigungsfirma sollte mal überprüft werden. Schade denn die mangelnde Sauberkeit hat die schöne der Lage verleidet. Würde es nicht mehr buchen.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: -Our cleaners take pride in making sure that the condo is thoroughly cleaned upon your arrival, including mopping the floor. We wish you would have reached out to us during your stay. We would've been more than happy to send our cleaning team to address your concerns -It's unfortunate our cleaner missed a pair of shorts under a bed, that's a first, but does not indicate that the condo is not cleaned properly. We will coach our crew to check more carefully under the beds -The pull-out sofa and loveseat in the living room were replaced 2 years ago, we know that mattress preference is unique to each guest and we were sorry to hear that you weren’t comfortable during your stay -The closets in the bedrooms contain items to make guests' stay more enjoyable - beach towels, floor fans, tennis racquets, coolers for the beach, and a beach wagon. There is even an iron and mini ironing board, most guests appreciate having these items available -There is a full set of cutlery for six, which is the maximum number of guests allowed to stay in the unit. One kitchen cupboard has a few staples such as salt, pepper, tea bags, sugar, etc. We have considered throwing everything out but felt that having a few staples provided would be appreciated. Generally, we stock items as if it were a home away from home -Both mattresses in the guest bedroom were replaced 3 years ago and have foam mattress toppers to make them more comfortable. The mattress in the main bedroom is very solid and comfortable as well. Additionally, the sheets are medium-quality cotton and we can assure future guests the towels, sheets, and comforters are washed after every guest's stay -There was an issue with the balcony door during your stay, the guest contact called our handyman, who unfortunately did not fix it properly. As we did not want to disrupt your stay with another craftsman visit, we had the door properly repaired the day after your departure by a company that specializes in sliding patio door repair. It is fixed and solid now While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we are happy to report that no issues were reported by the guests who stayed the following weekend. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, this homeowner is accustomed to providing five-star service and we look forward to hosting many satisfied guests!
