Guest Access: * You’ll have full access to the home, spacious deck, backyard with fire pit, and all 10 acres of our beautiful riverfront property—including a picnic area and private beach access to the Eel River.
* This is a rural setting, so please be cautious of the steep hillside and poison oak in some areas.
* Another rental home is located down the driveway. While both homes are spaced for privacy, you may cross paths with other guests. Don’t worry—there’s plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the peaceful setting away from the crowds.
*Disclaimer; Eel River Conditions Please be aware that during the warmer, lower-flow months of late Summer/early Fall, the Eel River may occasionally naturally develop areas of blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria) which can be harmful to humans and animals. The amount can vary depending on weather conditions and varies each year. Guests are responsible for making their own assessment of river conditions are suitable for swimming prior and during their stay. Kayaking and use of our river-front recreation area are still available when algae is unsafe for swimming.
Parking : The gated property has keypad access for both homes. The driveway is steep—enter and exit with care. You’ll have 2 designated and marked parking spots for the cabin. Please avoid parking in the shared driveway.
Other Details: * If the cabin is occupied, you may see fellow guests on the property.
* The house sits on the Avenue of the Giants, so some traffic noise from HWY 101 may echo through the valley.
* For everyone’s safety, guests will be asked to review and agree to our Release of Liability Terms when booking, as the property includes private river access for swimming, kayaking, and more.
