Delight in the fresh bounty of our fruit-bearing trees during the summer and fall seasons, all on the backdrop of our discreetly located property. You'll be warmly welcomed by our friendly furry residents and may even catch a glimpse of local deer, wild turkeys, and the occasional herd of grazing cattle. Birdwatchers will be captivated by the diversity of our feathered friends. However, we are situated in bear territory, so always exercise caution. Our whimsical charm is guaranteed to evoke childhood memories with gnome homes and fairy dwellings sprinkled across our property. Day or night, the cattle guard entrance over the creek and our iconic yellow VW bus mailbox serve as distinct landmarks guiding your way. Your private keypad entrance grants you the freedom to roam at your own pace. Our patio furniture and grills are at your disposal at all times. While the hot tub and courtyard seating are shared with other guests, you'll still enjoy an abundance of parking and private pathways. Please, no wood burning due to extreme wildfire danger, but smoking is permitted on your apartment patio. We're available to assist you from the top floor of our home, a mere notification on the app or a friendly doorbell ring away. Experience additional adventures with our range of tours and activities, including kayaking, hiking, mushroom foraging, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing, available for additional fees. If you're seeking a mountain wedding, look no further than our property for a truly intimate ceremony. Forgot your swimwear? Fret not; we provide a selection of suits for both men and women. If you're in need of a toothbrush, extra paper products, or anything else, feel free to ask. We strive to make all our guests, including the little ones, feel comfortable, hence a pack and play, highchair, and variety of toys and books can be provided.

As a child, I spent a lot of time on the Grand Mesa and in Cedaredge because my grandfather lived here. I grew up on the Front Range of Colorado. After my husband and I raised our children in Colorado Springs, we moved to the Western Slope. We fell in love with the region. Unfortunately, he passed away from ALS not long after we had moved. However, I decided to stay here and make this my home. I co-own the property with my mother who also lives here. I enjoy hosting guests and exploring this part of the state.

Why they chose this property

I love this property because of the spectacular view it has to offer. I enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek and the forest. It is a delight to watch the wildlife. It is very private and peaceful here. The neighbors are also great, although you won’t see them very often.

What makes this property unique

We have a lot to offer here! There are amazing views and places to meditate or read a book. There are several picnic tables, grills and fire pits for you to use. Enjoy soaking in the hot tub after a day of adventure. We have outdoor games you can borrow. There is plenty of room to park vehicles and toys. We are conveniently located off of Hwy 65 halfway between town and the Grand Mesa National Forest. We live on the property, so we are always available if you need us.
