Welcome to Blessing in Da Skies, a beautiful mountain cabin tucked inside the gated Rumbling Bald Resort community on Lake Lure. This spacious retreat offers everything you need for the perfect mountain getaway — breathtaking views, great amenities, and plenty of fun for all ages.

The Space

Step inside and you’ll immediately feel at home. The open-concept living area features high ceilings, large windows that fill the space with natural light, and a cozy seating area perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals and gather together around the dining table.

Downstairs, you’ll find plenty of room for entertainment — including a ping pong table and even your very own mini putt-putt hole on the deck! Whether you’re traveling with family or friends, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.

The cabin comfortably accommodates your group with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, providing privacy and comfort for all guests. Every detail is designed to make your stay easy and enjoyable.

While the cabin its self was nice. The experience was marred by cleanliness issues and bug. I understand the cabin is in the wood and we expect bug but not as much as we would like. There were worm looks like and lady bug and other bugs as I was told they are not dangerous which I fully understand but it’s still not okay for the children and our little puppy. The bug where around the whole house essentially on the bed where the children were going to sleep. It’s not safe for them specially if the bug go in their ears or something while they sleep. I stayed in plenty of cabinets before, but this was not it was dirty was not clean fully. The carpet was dirty. The kitchen was also dirty and dusty. We texted the host was taking for ever to respond, I understand it was Christmas, but it was also not OK for us to stay in the house with bugs especially on the beds where we try to sleep. We try to ask for a refund but we only stayed for one night (book for two nights) the other one we couldn’t be we were scared to sleep because of the bug. We couldn’t even get a refund because we already stayed for a night we could of at least get half of our money back but no we had to spend extra money to book another house to stayed in. This is not okay !!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Our cabin is located in a very remote, wooded area, and despite regular professional cleanings and preventative pest control, occasional insects can still appear—especially during winter months when bugs seek warmth indoors. While these insects are harmless, we understand how unsettling this can feel, particularly when traveling with children and pets. Cleanliness is something we take very seriously. The cabin is thoroughly cleaned and inspected before every stay, and we were surprised to hear your concerns. That said, we appreciate the feedback and have since followed up with our cleaning team to ensure standards remain high. We also regret that our response time over the Christmas holiday felt delayed. While holidays can affect immediate availability, we do our best to respond as quickly as possible and assist guests whenever concerns arise. Regarding refunds, our policy is clearly outlined prior to booking and is applied consistently. Once a night has been stayed, we are unable to offer partial refunds outside of that policy. We value guest feedback and continually work to improve the experience, and we encourage future guests to keep in mind that this is a true wilderness cabin, offering a rustic experience surrounded by nature.
