The house smelt of mold, Christmas decorations left in October. There were no rods in the closet to hang any clothes. The pillow shams had not been cleaned in quite a while and we’re dirty visibly the beds were uncomfortable when reaching out to the host, it seemed to be AI generated and assured us that they would take care of things and possibly move us to a different cabin never responded via phone like they said they would. I called them multiple times and got the same AI assistant, stating that they would escalate it to their management and they would contact us and they never did after several attempts. We just quit trying.

BEARS! DAILY ENCOUNTERS! We encountered multiple bears daily. One broke my window to my car within 30 minutes of arrival. Every family member was within 4 feet of a bear at some point on our 5 day trip, even my 3 and 6 year old. There was even a momma and cubs on the deck. The property is not well maintained. So many things were broken. The kitchen sink had leaked and left a horrible mildew smell throughout the entire house and was starting to mold. Tooke me an hour to clean up. The dishwasher was also broken so I was washing dishes and empting the pot under the sink every few minutes. The toilet on the main level would not flush. We had to dump a bucket of water to get it to flush when the kids forgot to go up stairs. Broken items found include multiple towel racks, toilet paper dispenser, front gate, fan etc. Also the driveway is SUPER steep and some vehicles will not make it up. This house is owned my a company. It has potential but needs some love.
