About this property
Lodge at Wagon Gap Trl. 3 Blue Ridge River Cabins
Lodge Lore. A private mountain retreat nestled in a forested valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains, set along a private stretch of the East Fork of the Pigeon River, surrounded by clear rushing water, mountain views, and peaceful trails across many acres.
The Lodge and two authentic hand-hewn log cabins blend Appalachian heritage and craft with modern comfort and handsome furnishings. Days here move easily between adventure and river time, with evenings gathering around meals, games, and the fire.
Your stay includes three cabins across the property: The Lodge, Goldilocks, and The Hobbit.
1) The Lodge -- The River House and Gathering Place
The Lodge sits directly on the river and serves as the heart of the property. Hand-hewn logs and stone frame warm interiors centered around a massive stone fireplace. A generous kitchen with Thermador appliances and stone counters is built for cooking together, with a long table ready for a crowd. A wood-burning stove warms the entry sitting room, while the living room anchors the house with views and the steady sound of the river nearby. Bedrooms feature exceptionally comfortable mattresses and fine linens. The bunk room offers relaxed bunkhouse-style sleeping for larger groups.

2) Goldilocks --The Perfect Cabin by the Pond
Goldilocks sits quietly within the forest, its front porch overlooking a small pond. Inside, a stone fireplace anchors the living room and the kitchen opens to a dining space built for shared meals.
