About this property

Beach Front Condo on the Strand, 101 Steps to the Beach STR2021-00204

Our condo is on the South end of Tybee so close to the beach that you can run home for bathroom breaks. The beach is right there for you to enjoy building sandcastles, swimming, bodysurfing, sunbathing, and relaxing. If it is too hot or windy on the beach, sit on the porch and enjoy the ocean view-also good if you get sunburned from sitting out too long. The view from the deck will make it hard to leave, but inside we have a nicely appointed 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for you to enjoy. You can always order take out from the restaurants that are so close you just have to walk to pick up the order.
Our condo is on the Strand close to restaurants and bars in addition to the beach. Fanny's on the Beach is next door, they have cover bands on the weekends in season. There are restaurants and bars on the Strand and around the corner on Tybrisa. Once you arrive and park your car, there is no need to get back in it until you are ready to leave the Island. You can walk or bike everywhere!

Great location, spectacular host. We rented this property on a short trip to experience the Beach Bum Parade (that deserves it's own review, but it's a kind of island-wide water-gun battle that is absurdly fun). This spot was perfect, toward the southern end of the island with great views of the beach from the third floor. The property was clean, and like the description states had absolutely everything that you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. All of that is kind of the benchmark that you expect on a rental like this though. What really made this particular location special was its host. Mary met with us upon arrival to ensure that the property was as expected and that we had everything we needed. She shared valuable tips and advice for getting the most out of our time on the island and genuinely seemed to care that we had a great time. It was clear that she was local to the island and truly loved the place and wanted to share it with people and as a result our experience was enriched. Thanks so much for being great hosts, we will definitely be returning to this place for the next water gun battle!

We bought this condo because of its great location so close to the beach at the South End of Tybee. We live on Tybee full time and wanted an extra place just for rentals, and overflow when our family visits! We have many wonderful summer memories spent at the beach and want to provide a place for you to make your own memories. Tybee is a special place and we want to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

We like the South end of Tybee because it is close to the beach, Back River, and you can walk/bike where ever you want to go. You are so close to the beach that it is easy to run home for bathroom breaks. Or if it is too hot or windy on the beach, sit on the porch and enjoy the ocean view. This condo is on the Strand close to restaurants and bars in addition to the beach. Fanny's on the Beach is next door, they have cover bands during the summer on the weekends. There are restaurants and bars on the strand and around the corner on Tybrisa.
This is our second condo in the area, around the corner on 17th Street, we have '101 Steps to the Beach, Sun, Sand, and Body Surfing Waves.' We purchased that condo in 2010 and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the guests that have chosen to stay with us. We provide the same type of Tybee experience for you, only this new condo has a better view and is closer to the Tybee nightlife!
