A mixture of wild nature and comfortable villas surround the property. You can do some walks in the woods or take the chance to visit the cozy village of Sao Pedro de Sintra, where you can taste some local delicious pastries ("queijadas" and "travesseiros") or enjoy some local dishes at different traditional restaurants.

Renting a car is highly recommended.

A stunning Sintra villa !!

Our family travelled from different parts of the world to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday in Sintra. We could not have asked for a better property to house our three kids and their partners in. Rui and Teresa have designed the house beautifully with every corner having something interesting to admire and observe. The house is very big with beautiful red oxide tiles in the main area. The bedrooms and bathrooms are generous in size and even though we were 8 people it never once felt crowded. The kitchen has every appliance imaginable which made cooking from scratch very easy. We even contemplated baking a cake ! The gardens and pool are a sensory delight and we spent many a happy hour just taking it all in. The house is not just beautiful but also very comfortable in luxurious kinda way. Rui and Teresa are very, very thoughtful hosts and a pleasure to communicate with. If you have a chance to enjoy their Villa, grab it!! We didn’t hire a car as we found Ubers very convenient . Really hope we can go back there sometime soon!

Every detail is perfection

This home, this property, these hosts....everything was perfect. Rui and Teresa great you with a bottle of wine and a fresh baked loaf of bread! The house is immaculate. The backyard, the pool, the gardens are beautiful. This was the best week and we will come back!

Fabuleux !

Belle demeure située sur une colline de Sintra que nous avons partagée pendant 1 semaine entre amis (4 couples) et à proximité de toutes les commodités (à 5 minutes en voiture du supermarché, 10 minutes du centre ville & du centre historique et 20 minutes de Lisbonne). Villa très spacieuse et magnifiquement décorée, dotée d'une cuisine comprenant tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le linge de toilette est fourni en grande quantité et des peignoirs sont également mis à disposition. Le jardin et la piscine sont superbes. Teresa et Rui, les propriétaires, nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux et sont vraiment aux petits soins pour leurs locataires, tout en restant extrêmement discrets. Nous les remercions encore pour leur aide à notre arrivée. Bref, séjour parfait dans une villa confortable aux prestations de qualité. Nous recommandons vivement.

Beautiful tranquil home

This is a fabulous house -large, spacious and beautifully appointed. The location is ideal for exploring Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais and the coastline. It is secluded, with a large, private garden and not overlooked. It is immaculately presented, lovely bedrooms, each with private bathroom, the living areas both indoors and outside are excellent, the pool is a good size and very well maintained. The house has everything 2 families needed for comfort and Rui and Therese are wonderful hosts, very kind, attentive and supportive. We would definitely stay here again, one of the nicest properties we have stayed in anywhere. One minor downside - the villa is up a fairly steep, narrow country lane and nervous drivers might not enjoy the last 400m to reach it, although the road is perfectly safe.

Hervorragendes Haus, ideal für eine Generationsübergreifende Auszeit!

Das Haus von Teresa und Rui ist eines der schönsten jemals von uns besuchten Domizile. Es ist sehr persönlich und komfortabel ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Teresa und Rui sind sehr sympathische und tolle immer erreichbare Gastgeber.
