Great place for a large family! The kids loved the downstairs area with video games and bunk room. We were traveling with our elderly father and we appreciated the pullout downstairs and full bathroom right off the carport entry— this helped him not have to navigate stairs. It was also nice that there were plenty of bedrooms and baths for the adults and kids. Convenient drive to Pigeon Forge/ Dollywood. Plenty of towels and extra blankets provided Would stay again. Great dining area for large group as well as living space. The home is in a gated community-the security personnel were always very nice! Thank you! We enjoyed our weekend trip!
Bring your own forks:The property is spacious and comfortable, with very comfortable beds, but the stay had several inconveniences. Check‑in was delayed due to being denied entry at the gate without proof of purchase. Upon arrival, maintenance work on an arcade game continued for several hours. While the house was generally clean, it had an odd odor that required air fresheners. There were multiple maintenance and functionality issues, including a cracked bathtub with apparent water leakage, cosmetic damage throughout (wall and window cracks, light bulbs), no cold water in the kitchen sink, a loose board on the deck, and a loud, frequent banging noise—possibly from a sump pump—in an inaccessible area. Several amenities were lacking or unusable: the fire pit seating was inadequate with no fire-starting supplies, the gas grill had no propane or lighter, not all stove burners worked, and silverware was very limited.Overall, while the cabin had good space and comfortable sleeping arrangements, the number of maintenance, safety, and amenity issues kept this from being a higher‑rated experience. The communication from host and managing company was exceptional and they worked on these concerns. I would stay there again.
Check in and booking was awesome. The house looked great from outside. We started bringing our belongings into the house and noticed there was mouse poop everywhere. So we started cleaning it up. I didn’t check the beds. My son and his pregnant wife crawled into bed and the linens needed to be washed because the mice had been throughout the bed. A bathtub was cracked about 15 inches, unusable, I specifically booked this house because it had 3 full baths since there were 3 families. I contacted the host, was told that they were going to schedule maintenance to work on it, I gave him permission to come in if we werent there. 2 chairs for the table had legs that were about to fall off, I tightened nuts to make them usable. Barstool had 1 leg 6 inches shorter, unusable. Other things I noticed,3windows cracked, the downstairs sink sprayed water everywhere, closet doors were missing or not on tracks, kitchen sink-no cold water, kitchen wall had a large crack, an arcade games wouldn’t power on the other was missing a knob, ceiling fans were missing globes and bulbs. I purchased mouse traps and caught several mice, a towel bar was smashed into the wall, toilet paper holder was missing parts, the internet box was hanging by wires on the wall. I contacted VRBO about the issues. Then the day before our last day there the host again said that maintenance “was dispatched” and was going address the issues, When our stay was over maintenance still had not been there.
