We arrived at 1am in the morning after a very long travel day. We were so exhausted that we immediately went right to bed. In that moment, I questioned the freshness of the bedding because of how it felt, but didn't over think it due to the lateness of our arrival. The following day, I noticed small blood spots on the sheet, long black hairs, and some dirt under the covers. It was so gross! I pulled extra pillows and blanket from the closet, thinking they would be clean and fresh. Only to find more black hairs on the pillowcases and large blood stains on the comforter. I called the office to notify them. They came and replaced bedding and all items In closet. Once we got into that clean bed and the sheets were tight and crisp, I realized that the bedding from our first night was definitely old and had never been changed from the previous renter. I was disgusted. It was very clear to me the place had not been cleaned properly. The floors were dirty and hair was everywhere. After that, I even questioned if the dishes had been properly cleaned or just wiped down. There was a bathroom sink that was clogged and housekeeping had to address that. We were quite disappointed.
