This was a great place with fantastic views of the glacier and mountains across the bay. Everything was in top shape and looked brand new. It was also really nice that they had all of the things that you needed there for the stay. If we are back in homer this would be our first choice to stay!

Beautiful view overlooking Kachemak Bay. Sea otters playing and splashing about with Eagles and other shore birds showing off their piloting skills. . It is a great place to rest and relax.

I grew up in Homer so our family meets in Homer every Memorial Day weekend. What a wonderful Memorial weekend we had in Homer. This place was a blessing! Peaceful, amazing views… enjoyed the sunrise and sunset while sitting on the deck. The cabin is right on th water… overlooking Kachemak Bay. This will be our new Homer ‘hide away’

Glacier View Beach House was everything it was promised to be. Very nice kitchen, comfortable beds and a spectacular view! The property was well equipped, even having a propane grill on the back deck and a fire pit out back. We saw sea otters as well as harbor seals at times right from the deck! Also the area is loaded with Moose, saw several in the area. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Alaska!

10 STARS ALL DAY LONG!! Wow just wow. This property just sparkles. Giant deck, beautiful firepit and the views… you just don’t want to leave. Beds were best I’ve slept in a long time and kitchen was large and well stocked. Layout was comfortable for our family and close to town and the spit! The home is enchanting and hard to ever want to leave!

Incredible views and location; your own personal beach with views to heaven. Wonderful fire pit and access to beach if you have good mobility. Beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed. Bring your own ground coffee, because there is not necessarily any in the cupboards when you arrive. I never received a reply from host when I asked when I would receive our very large deposit back- hoping it’s returned promptly.

Thank you for your kind review. There was a very large bag of coffee (Costco size) there previously so I wonder if someone took it with them. Also, there was no message received on a deposit from my end so I’ll check with VRBO.

We really enjoyed our two nights at the beach house. The view is incredible from both inside and out, from sunrise to sunset. Watching seals lounge on the rocks and the tides come in and out was a special treat and so peaceful. The house was clean and well kept. The only problem we had is that there is a hot water pump located in the closet of one of the bedrooms that turns on every time the toilet flushed or warm water is used. It was loud enough to wake our son up. But still, an incredible stay and we hope to return.

We had an amazing stay and truly didn't want to leave! The views of the bay and glacier were absolutely stunning. The wildlife made the experience even more memorable. Within an hour of arriving, we spotted seals and bald eagles right from the property, plus a moose and her calf just down the road as we were returning from town. The house was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The combination of breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife, and a comfortable, well-equipped home made this an unforgettable stay. It was our favorite location during our 12 days in Alaska. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Alaska.
