About the host

Hosted by Susan Becker

Host profile image
Enno grew up in Maine, just across the harbor, in what's now the Robinhood Marine Center. Susan grew up in New Jersey. Although we met in New York City and now live in Winchester Mass, we've always enjoyed visiting the Knubble with our children.

Why they chose this property

Enno's parents moved to Maine and created the Marina at a time when Maine was more rustic and traditional. As more people have moved here Georgetown has managed to hold onto its Mid-Coast Maine flavor with seashores and woods as well as a welcoming aspect.

What makes this property unique

When Enno was young, a favorite family activity was to walk from the Marina over to the Knubble. The one house (at the top of the hill) was empty then, and the woods and fields were wild. Now there are a handful of houses, but they all feel very private despite being convenient to the Marina and to Bath. The Little Knubble is super special as well.
