I chose South Nags Head because it offers the perfect combination of peaceful beaches and easy access to all the Outer Banks has to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, with wide sandy beaches just steps from the house and plenty of space for kids to run, play, and explore.

I love walking along the shoreline at sunrise, watching the waves, and spotting local wildlife. Evenings are perfect for strolling through the neighborhood or enjoying a relaxing dinner on the deck with the ocean breeze. It’s close enough to attractions like Jennette’s Pier, Bodie Island Lighthouse, and local restaurants, but far enough from the crowds to feel calm and private.

The private hot tub is a favorite for relaxing after a day on the beach, and the open, airy layout makes it easy for families to spend time together while still having space to unwind.

We’ve designed the home with families in mind, from tub/shower combos in both bathrooms to comfortable sleeping for six, so everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With quiet outdoor spaces, easy beach access, and proximity to OBX attractions like Jennette’s Pier and Bodie Island Lighthouse, this property combines the best of a peaceful retreat with all the fun and adventure of the Outer Banks.
