We loved the house and the location. Great place.Just a couple of very minor things:- The “high chair” is actually a booster seat and in a drawer- not in the corner as described.-Some fans in the bedrooms would be great- to keep the air moving, and the third floor could use more fans- the oven heats up the room.-Kitchen could use a few more towels- only two was tough considering the size of our group and how many dishes/cooking we did. Otherwise, we loved the place and will keep it on our list for any future trips.

Very well placed property in Cape mearesQuick walk to the beach this beach quiet and less crowded. House itself is very nice with great views from the top floor. Has an elevator for those with problems with stairs which helped us with our stay. Would 100% recommend for those of you looking for a beach house with no crowds and no traffic

Overall, the property was consistent with its listing and gave us a nice stay in a great location. The views from the top floor were spectacular of both the beach and the sunsets! We did take advantage of the location to walk the beach. As the planner for several group vacations, I received very positive feedback from our group on both the location and more importantly the facility. We look forward to renting it again when back in the area.The entire facility was very clean and the hot tub was being cleaned when we arrived. There were some of the third floor windows (the primary floor) that had smudges on them but most of them were on the outside and caused by swallows flying into them. Any interior smudges were easily cleaned off.Once I figured out how the VRBO protocol works, communication was quick and easy, via either text or email. While it took several tries to the get code to operate the elevator for one of our group of 7, answers to other questions where quick (less than 5 minutes) and responsive to our questions.We did use the entire facility (all four bedrooms, laundry, hot tub, elevator, and main floor fireplace) and all worked easily and as expected.The only recommendations we had were to considering shades on the west/beach side of the top floor to lessen heat during the summer and glare when in the kitchen.

Great location, easy to find and check in. Good communication from the rental management company. There was plenty of space for our group of 6. The kitchen is well appointed. There are signs of wear in some of the areas (kitchen cabinets/handles, flooring), but overall, a good place to stay at the coast. There were no cloth towels in the kitchen (there was a roll of paper towels), but the host provided them quickly once we let them know. There is a nice fire pit in the back yard area. Note, there is not a grill for BBQing, so plan accordingly. The hot tub is in an enclosed area (but you can open a window for fresh air).

This is a three-story building with the kitchen great room on the top floor so there’s a pretty good ocean view. with the kitchen being on the third floor. I definitely recommend that you request the elevator service which they would prefer to limit. I can see that as elevators are expensive to maintain. but taking heavy food stuff up to third floor on those steps is a little daunting if you’re over 50. only two blocks to the beach and Cape Meares is a nice little community. a bit remote and that’s what we like. A very comfortable place to stay we were very pleased.

We had a fabulous time here! The house as just as advertised, near what we wanted to do and spotless. We're not crazy about the extra fees we had to pay to Vacasa and Vrbo both, and the elevator access was perfect for a family member with limited mobility. We'll be back!

MOTHERS DAY

I brought my mom here me and my sisters for moms day weekend. This house is amazing we all love it. My mom is 75 yrs old and she got to enjoy the whole house thanks to the elevator. This was the greatest thing ever. She has to stay home alot of the times she cant do stairs. So she was really happy. Us 5 women had the best weekend here. I am coming back soon.
