A bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor make the home comfortable and convenient for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.

Our group of friends and our kiddos stayed here and it was perfect for us! The kitchen was well stocked, the outside space was nice, the living/dining space was perfect, and the walk to the beach was easy. The layout upstairs is a little odd but ended up working out perfectly for the families and our various needs. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but after a long day playing on the beach, we all slept great!

It was an easy walk to the beach, maybe 6 blocks. You can see the ocean on the horizon as you walk towards it! The owner had beach chairs-even a portable pavilion, sand toys for the kids, large cooler, folding wagon and even blankets, towels, and ones designated for dog use. We had age 2-71, and there were indoor games as well as outdoor games. The covered carport was an enjoyable gathering space. The house was spacious for us to spread out. It was very clean, even for this being peak season. We had lots of hot water! The kitchen was impressive with an array of small appliances and cookware and plenty of dinnerware for all of us. We went to Garibaldi to buy fish on the dock. We were able to grill on the gas grill and pan fry some too! A local grocery store is just down on the corner. The neighborhood is quiet and charming, even with rental properties and local residents There’s wooded areas where we saw deer and raccoon. I felt very safe to walk our dog, We did suggest a gate on the front deck to catch a quick toddler or bolting dog. We also suggested room darkening curtains for the bedrooms upstairs - kiddos don’t like going to bed during daylight!Our host went above and beyond for us. Two bags were forgotten upstairs. His cleaning lady secured them in their locked area and he called us. Lucky me, he was coming our way in a few days and offered to bring them to me. We had a very pleasant visit. This house was roomy and very comfortable for my large family. The kitchen was well stocked, the towels were plentiful. Numerous outside chairs were appreciated. The location of the house is wonderful: close to town and the beach. We were not able to close the sliding screen door as the frame was bent. The washing machine worked the first two evenings and was so very convenient to have access to. However, the last night the washing machine filled up with water and stopped working. The downstairs bathroom needs more than one hook for towels. The upstairs bathroom had no lock on the door. This was badly needed. I really wanted to give this house a 5 star rating but for the washing machine and no bathroom door lock.

This house was the perfect spot for my sisters (5) and niece to stay for the weekend. It is an easy walk to the beach, plenty of beds for us all, tastefully decorated, and the deck was very nice. It'll be even better once the owner gets the firepit put in.We would definitely stay here again.Thank you, Scott.
