You'll be situated in a complex right off Highway 101 and only a short walk past a few houses to the beach. Stroll to cafes, restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. Drive 26 miles south to Cape Meares State Park for lovely views and a nice drive around Tillamook Bay on the way, or drive 17 miles north to Neahkahnie Mountain, just past Nehalem Bay State Park, for hiking and more views. Slow down the pace and explore the tide pools, do some beachcombing, and search for glass floats, and be sure to visit the iconic Tillamook Cheese Factory for samplings and a tour.



This cozy home has all the essentials with a kitchenette, complete with oven/stove, mini fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker - everything you need for making and enjoying meals in. You'll also have a flatscreen TV for those nights when you want to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the coast. Very small place. I was expecting a futon, not a couch. No closets. This is my second time using VRBO and not impressed. Would have had more space and if I just went to the nearby campgrounds

We didn’t have the code to get the key when we got there, but thankfully there was a number to call and someone answered and was able to get us the code. The bed had hair and the couch was dirty. The town is super small and everything closes by 8, which we didn’t realize until after 7 when we were looking for for places for dinner. The walk is super short to the beach and the beach was nice.

The proximity to the beach and the weather we had for our stay was really good. The place was small as expected and fairly clean on the surface. When we opened the drawer below the oven there was one small pot there that was rusty, the drawer was also rusty and had debris in it. There were clean dishes, though one of the cupboards had a couple of shelves that were also dirty with debris, that should have been easily cleaned. The one dining chair we attempted to use was coming apart on the back rest as well as the two lower cross bars were not even held together. The WIFI did did not even show available. There was log in info on the wall and a different log in sent via check in message and neither were available. The router in the room has a name Asus, which did show on my device but had no security nor internet connection. I contacted the host about this and they suggested resting it, which I had and did again, to no resolve. After nearly 12 hours they responded again stating that they would contact the property manager and would get back to me right away(I was apparently messaging with a call center or AI)I was never contacted and the WIFI issue was not taken care of other than a response after I left saying that there is a shared WIFI that I would have to go outside and near another unit to use, despite me having and failing to find any available WIFI aside from a motel across the street. They did not resolve any issues that should not have been present in the 1st place.

I am very, very disappointed. Worst stay ever. First, in the description it says 4 people but in a reality it was only enough space for 3, so basically I and my youngest child slept in a bed, our other son slept in the sofa which was small even for 1 person and my husband ended up sleeping in our car. The room was old, couch had stains and animal fur on it. The pots were disgustingly dirty. The chair was falling apart.
