Comfy house, amazing location!
We had such an awesome, relaxing time here! It was myself, my parents, my partner and my teenage son. We all had plenty of room and were very comfortable here. The house has anything and everything you might want or need during your stay. It was very clean and smelled soooo good when we arrived. Everything was in decent condition. I was very pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Whoever said it's "a few steps up from a college crash pad" is kind of ridiculous, imo. It's nothing like that! It's well appointed, everything works, it's comfortable, it looks nice. There's nothing there that's even close to being like that. It's an older house, as are the vast majority of the ones in that area, but it's not offensive or gross in any way. There are a few minor things that could use updating, like the kitchen sink faucet and the toilet seat, but they're still perfectly functional.
I did read the reviews about the stairs but it's hard to really get it until you're there. My son and I are each about 6' tall (me under, him over) and we're big people. I'm disabled from back issues and nerve damage. I was able to use the stairs inside but it was scary. Going up was easier because you can kind of climb with your hands. The main issue is that the steps are very small so feet don't fit well and there's a spot where you must duck to go under. That said, they're navigable and my son went up and down with no issues after getting used to them. I just mostly stayed upstairs.
