Back on the rental market after a two-year gap! You will love our quiet and private location that is central and convenient to everything Bermuda has to offer.... Whether it's a romantic getaway or a family vacation, The Pool House is just what you need to make the most of a Bermudaful vacation. We invite our past guests to revisit us and are happy to welcome them back, and we look forward to helping new guests have the vacation they have dreamt of in Bermuda!

Pool House Unit 2 is the two-storey part of this house and is a two-bedroom poolside townhouse with what everyone says is the most amazingly comfortable kingsize bed in main bedroom -- gorgeous Great Sound views to wake up to. Second bedroom has a queen bed, and both have large closets. Shared bathroom upstairs with large walk-in shower. Downstairs on main level are spacious living room with fireplace (and comfy full-sized sleeper sofa), powder room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, covered porch by the pool, and back patio with dining/barbeque and awning. Breakfast in the morning on the private back patio, after your morning swim, is a wonderful start to your day. Walk to Turtle Hill golf course and Boundary Sports Bar and Restaurant, Wok Express takeout, The Reefs hotel (spa, dining on the beach at Coconuts, or in main restaurant), Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Henry VIII restaurant, Horseshoe Bay (10-15 mins) and more. Marketplace Heron Bay grocery store is a 10-15 min walk on railway trail or Middle Road, or a short bus or bike/car ride away. We are also wired to recharge the electric cars that are available for visitors to rent (110V and 220V). Bus stop is only 3 minutes walk from The Pool House. Convenient and perfect for exploring Bermuda during the day, and then relaxing in and around the pool before dinner and evening activities. Download the Nightsky app before you come if you like to look at and identify the millions of stars you will see on clear nights. You have to check with me well in advance for longer term (eg monthly) rates available for winter months (January through March). The single storey part of the house is a one-bedroom apt that is rented separately or owner occupied, and the pool and gas barbeque area by the pool are shared.

Truly Wonderful Experience

Clean and comfortable accommodations. Very close to bus stop and short walk to the grocery store. Swimming pool was fabulous and a great to come home to after a day of sightseeing! Property owner was an excellent host, very helpful! Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home away from home

We very much enjoyed our stay at Diana’s beautiful Poolhouse home. Located ideally in Bermuda on the railroad trail and close to the great public transport! Diana was a wonderful host, welcoming, accommodating and wealth of information about the Island! Highly recommend the Poolhouse as a Bermuda getaway you will never forget!

Bermuda pool house

Peaceful, tranquil setting in a beautiful secluded garden property with a fantastic pool. Location is excellent with proximity to beaches, restaurants and grocery store. The kitchen is well-equipped for making elaborate meals. There are many extras including beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and surf boards. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, and a pleasure to stay in.

Home away from home.

Very nice house a short walk from the bus stop at Water lot. Diana was very helpful and informative about the island. She stayed in the property and checked in regularly. The house is set up with mostly everything you need! I like to cook and she had all the cooking items one could use and a spice rack. Great find and will definitely would recommend!

Diane the host was marvelous!!!!!!

Both beds were very painful to sleep in, the last 3 nights we slept sideways hoping for a better sleep. Issue was once you laid in an area, it sunk down like a cocoon .

Lovely stay

Diana was a lovely host. The property was just the right size for us and had all the facilities we expected. We didn’t realise until after we booked that the photos show two separate units, with the host living in one. This wasn’t a problem, but we weren’t expecting there to be shared space. The location was beautifully quiet, but a little hard to find, even for locals. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay, which was made all the better when Diana brought out toys for our children to play with. She was a very welcoming and friendly host.

Retreat in paradise

We rented Villa 2 from Diana and it had everything possible to make our trip relaxing and comfortable, a home from home but in paradise. Diana is a wonderful host, nothing was too much and she provided lots of nice touches like organising a taxi to pick us up, the welcome cheese and snack dish, rum swizzle (best on the island!) and also kindly a birthday card and present for me too. The Villa is ideally situated for easy access to bus stops and walking (railway line walk is right next to it). The Villa itself was immaculate and very homely and comfortable with Aircon in all areas too. Very well equipped kitchen but the icing on the cake is the lovely pool area. Would highly recommend this Villa, you won't be disappointed!

Charming, all across the board

Lovely views, close access to the bus, terrific hosts, comfy living space — this spot was a delight, even given the cooler temps and Covid hassles (many of which were winding up on our last day). We will very likely be back (and we don’t often say that — even for places we’ve adored). Diana made everything so very easy and went out of her way on more than one occasion to make us feel welcome.

Lovely warm friendly stay!

We had a delightful time staying at Diana’s property! She is a marvellous hostess and has thought of everything you could possibly want for your holiday. We stayed in the two-bedroom pool house which is also Diana’s home, so it is warm and welcoming - we felt as though we lived there ourselves, which shows how relaxing it is. There is a shared bathroom upstairs plus a separate toilet downstairs; the living room is spacious and comfortable; the kitchen/diner easily accommodates four to six people. We made good use of the BBQ on the warm summer evenings, and spent a lot of time sunbathing by the pool. Diana had left a welcome cheese platter and some rum swizzle to welcome us on our fist evening, which went down very smoothly! The property is near enough to the Naval Dockyard and to Hamilton for convenience, but is off the beaten track so it is quiet and peaceful. I’d recommend hiring bikes, scooters or Twizys (little electric cars) for your stay, to avoid the restrictions of the bus timetable and the expense of taxis. You can be at the beaches on South Shore within 10 mins, and there’s a supermarket even closer. Several lovely restaurants are nearby. Diana has left a folder with all sorts of ideas for dining, shopping and experiences, so you’re never far from a fun adventure. We would stay here again at the drop of a hat .,

Everything Was Great

Everything was great. The hostess could not have been more helpful. The place was very clean and well decorated. Very convenient for bus transportation Walkable to Horseshoe Bay and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. We loved the pool after a hot day.

Best place to stay in Bermuda

We found the Bermuda pool house location perfect. The private pool was amazing. The hosts Diana and Jez were accomodating, and very helpful orienting us to the island. They provided us with bus maps, tickets, suggestions for day trips. They also provided us with restaraunt options with accurate reviews. We felt like were visiting old friends during happy hour while enjoying cigars by the pool. We enjoyed the best swissel in the island thanks to Dianas secret family recipe. The pool house was well equipped with all ammenities. Thanks for your warm hospitality. Our family had a very .memorable vacation.

Previously owner and/or operator at Pretty Penny Guest House, Grape Bay Cottages and Marley Beach Cottages, Diana now enjoys being hostess to visitors to her lovely Southampton townhouse (just off Lighthouse Road, for those who know Bermuda) and near Waterlot Inn, The Reefs Hotel, Fairmont Hotel (when it reopens, currently closed), and Horseshoe Bay. "....we have made so many wonderful friends over the years, and are thrilled that so many of our guests return again and again...."

Why they chose this property

The Pool House Unit 2 is the "main cottage", with two bedrooms, one and a half baths, covered porch, back porch, pool, fireplace, and more. It is completely equipped, VERY conveniently located for travelling around Bermuda either by bus and other public transport, or by mo-ped and now electric vehicles (the property has a charger installed).

Centrally located near Horseshoe Beach, Turtle Hill Golf Club, several excellent restaurants, yet quiet and private. You could not find a better, more convenient or relaxing location from which to enjoy your Bermudaful vacation.

Electric car charger and location, location, location. Convenient, easy... and so relaxing that most visitors wonder why they spent the first few days rushing about sightseeing.
