We didn't use the pool, so I can't remark about that, but the property indoors and outdoors is beautiful and well kept. Very nice setup for lodgers. I would have loved to stay for a week or two. The host was easy to contact and was very helpful when inquiries were made.

A manual within the home would be helpful. How to adjust temps, where the light switch is located in the basement, days and times of scheduled maintenance, trash, list of available tv channels, nearby food, shopping, etc.

The air conditioning thermostat was faulty. We would set it on 72 and it would cool down to 72. But once it got to temp it would not stay there. It would automatically return to 78 degrees which is entirely too warm for our comfort. I told Melissa and she dismissed it by saying all you have to do is set it on the temp and it was done. It didn’t help that the ceiling fan in the master only worked when the light was on. The house was fine. We found it clean and nicely decorated.

We were raised in the east coast but love what our country has to offer everywhere: coast to coast, border to border!
Hosting has been an adventure that has giving us gratefulness for meeting new people.
It is rewarding to share our home with families and give others the same opportunity of travel with a home away from home.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood has so many amazing qualities. One of the major draws is the safe, quite neighborhood. Our home is on a cul-de-sac therefore traffic is very limited, which a nice relief being close to Highway 54.
The property is located in the center of the Northeast Area. It is close to Fort Bliss Military Base, two City parks within half a mile, Camp Cohen Water Park 2 miles, many restaurants to choose from, Walmart 2 miles, Archeology Museum, Border Partol Museum, Franklin Mountains State Park
The surrounding cities have alot to offer also. The adventures are limitless, and usually a day trip away. Las Cruces(NM), White Sands National Park( NM),Carlsbad Carverns(NM), Billy the Kid History (TX and NM) and so much more.
For those who seek more adventures, the El Paso Airport is a 15 minute drive and hop on a flight to any major cities. Just to name a few: Las Vegas, Dallas, San Diego, San Antonio, Phoenix. We have enjoyed short, affordable flights for weekend get away trips.
