About this property

Heron Hut - 2 bdrm, 1 bath home on quite pond with private WIFI

A relaxing beach retreat with a peaceful view of the pond. Enjoy bird watching and fishing and right outside your back door. There are two bedrooms; master with a queen bed and a guest bedroom with two single beds. The couch is a new sleeper queen sofa. The living area is bright and beachy with a full-sized kitchen. Home amenities include; a refrigerator , range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, small washer/dryer, two flat screen TVs (with internet), central air and off-street parking for two vehicles.

The courtyard is fenced in with patio furniture consisting of six chairs, table and umbrella. A gas grill is also provided for renter’s convenience.

Assateague Pointe is a gated community with 24-hr security. It offers use of two large pools, 1500-foot fishing and crabbing pier, volley ball, basketball, game room, Wi-Fi, etc. The community is centrally located only 10 minutes from Assateague beach, Ocean City beach, board walk, go-carts, restaurants, and shopping outlets. The community is also located next to the newly renovated Frontier Town water park and theme park. Come and take our beach retreat for a test run … you will enjoy every minute.

Perfect spot to stay near Assateague

This was the perfect spot for myself and husband and 5yo daughter to stay. The community had a nice big pool, a pier to walk out on, a playground, and it was super close to Assateague island.

Staying is really great at this place. It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The owners are easy to deal with. I have stayed more than once and will do so again. I even recommended it to friends who wish to stay in Berlin.

Breath taking! The colors were beautiful throughout the whole home. Beds were comfortable (huge plus there!). My partner and kiddos loved it! We have stayed in the Assateague Pointe community many times but this was our first visit to Heron Hut. We absolutely loved it! It was our best beach cottage yet. Very clean, well kept and had everything we needed for a great family getaway. The views were gorgeous. We loved watching the Blue Herons from our back porch.

Great place to stay. Clean and easy checkinOnly issue was having to wash and dry and put away laundry. As well as having to make our own beds on arrival. Was hard to do on a short 2 night stay with an early morning departure. Otherwise, excellent location and beautiful home.
