About this property

Spacious 3BR Lake Cabin – Fishing, Fire Pit & ATV/UTV Access

Ample wildlife, peace, and quiet await you here, with easy access to fishing and the ATV/snowmobile trail systems (most local roads are open to ATV use). The property is located at the north end of Killarney Lake, near the Willow Flowage, Lake Nokomis, and the Tomahawk River. A public boat launch is available at the south end of the lake near Kelly Dam.

The property spans about 100 acres of wooded land and includes a private dock on Killarney Lake for shore fishing and kayak access. A large open yard with a fire pit is perfect for gathering, and a few on-site trails are yours to explore. There’s also space for target shooting, and safe, responsible firearm use is welcome.

Inside the Home
The main floor features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area with a small island (three barstools) and a dining table that seats six comfortably (eight if needed). The fully stocked kitchen has everything you’ll need—dishes, utensils, coffee maker, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, and other small appliances (note: no dishwasher). A wood-burning fireplace adds extra warmth and charm.

Step out the front door to a covered porch with a swing, gas grill, and charcoal grill, or through the rear patio door to a large wraparound deck with a covered sitting area. Also on the main floor: a full bathroom, laundry area, and two bedrooms (one king, one queen).

Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy loft reading nook with bookshelves and a bedroom with a king bed and a full bathroom.

On the lower level, a spacious family room offers a gas woodstove, TV, sleeper sofa, recliners, futon, rocker, mini-fridge, microwave, and a table with four chairs. A patio door opens to the yard. This level also includes a full bathroom and a separate room with two twin beds, board games, puzzles, and playing cards. A sliding door provides privacy if desired.

Modern Comforts
The home is equipped with Starlink Internet so you can stay connected, stream content on smart TVs (main floor and lower level), or play music on the portable powered speaker. A wireless printer is also available on the main floor.

Nearby Attractions
The city of Tomahawk (13 miles south), Minocqua (23 miles north), and Rhinelander (24 miles east) offer shopping, restaurants, and conveniences. Closer to home, you’ll find a mix of local dining spots—from casual bars like Boomba Bar and Willow’s End to finer dining at Bootlegger’s Lodge. While traffic is minimal, keep an eye out for deer along the roads!

What We Provide
We’ll start you off with basic supplies such as a few rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, and paper towels. To make your stay more enjoyable, we recommend stocking up on groceries and any extra provisions on your way in so you can relax right away.

We stayed at this property during a significant winter storm, which created additional challenges with power and communication, so it’s important to keep that context in mind. Despite the storm, the property itself was wonderful—very secluded, peaceful, and spacious both inside and out. It was extremely well stocked, clean, and the bed we used was quite comfortable. The real wood fireplace was a great touch, especially during winter, and the firewood was generously supplied.Upon arrival, the power was out due to the ongoing storm, which made communication difficult because of weak cellular service and no Wi-Fi. During the peak of the storm, we were finally able to get in touch with the property management group who helped us out with decision making. We rode out the power outage and all was good after that was corrected. We were surprised, after such a large snowfall (11-12 inches) that the driveway was not snow plowed. Thankfully, we had a 4WD vehicle and were able to manage. We look forward to returning.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful review and for staying with us during such a challenging winter storm. We truly appreciate your understanding of the conditions and are glad to hear that you found the property well stocked, clean, comfortable, and a cozy place to ride out the weather. Regarding the driveway, with significant storm events and widespread snowfall, local plow operators are often responding to a high volume of calls, and it can take some time for service providers to reach every property. We do our best to schedule plowing as promptly as possible, but during major storms, delays can unfortunately occur. We’re grateful you were able to manage with your 4WD vehicle and appreciate your patience. It’s wonderful to hear that you look forward to returning, and we would be delighted to host you again in the future.
