Clean, Comfortable and Great Location!

The Shipyard never disappoints! Great location and short walk to beach. Clean, comfortable and mostly updated. Kitchen could use just a few basic condiments but we had all the equipment and utensils to eat in when we wanted to. Close walk to pool. Loved that the porch had a gate so we could enjoy that when we wanted and not worry about our dog going down the steps. Check in and out was a breeze. Would recommend staying here!

Beautiful condo with lovely setting

We truly enjoyed our stay at Beachwalk. The condo was comfortable and in excellent shape, well stocked with kitchenware. The close proximity to the beach made morning walks with our lab very enjoyable. You can travel to most places on the well designed bike paths.

114 Beachwalk is the best !

We have stayed at 114 Beachwalk yearly, for the last few years, usually in October. It is by far our first preference at Hilton Head. The new gate added to the deck was a great addition. The extra touches in the kitchen, bath, and for our 4 legged children are the best ! Everything was so clean and so convenient. We have already reserved it for next October, so that speaks for itself in what a wonderful stay it is!

Great Trip

We enjoyed our trip to Hilton Head. This was our first time the we stayed in the shipyard plantation. The villa was very nice and clean. 2nd floor was fine for us, we carried our small dog down the steps. It was about 5 minutes to the beach and the walking path was nice and shaded. We would recommend this place to other couples there was ample room for the 2 of us and our pet. The management group was great to work with, thanks again

Short Stay

2nd floor unit with nice deck, table and chairs. Place was clean, but needs updated. We're both 70 years old, so dealing with steps was kind of tough, but that's our mistake. Retired couple below (they own their unit), very nice. Convenient to beach. We rented a cart...well worth it. Great restaurants nearby. Hilton Head is the best beach in our opinion in North or South Carolina.

Great place close to the beach.

We enjoyed our time in this cute condo. The location is perfect. My only issue was workers kept coming to our door asking to get in the attic or check the HVAC. I had my 12 ye old with me so that was worrisome. The management company shut this down once I called. They were great.

The ad said it was a 3 minute walk to the beach. That is only if you can find a parking spot at the beach walk , otherwise you are carrying everything for 10 minutes,plus, because the beach area is for the public. No where in the description it said it was a public entrance! We actually left a day early because that place was dark and depressing! We won't be back. R Hollis

HH restaurants, golfing, beaches and other attractions were just great.

Just returned from HH after spending a lovely week (7/31-8/7) at Beach Walk in this 1 BR condo. I’m going to list out my pros and cons, however the week was just fantastic. HH restaurants, golfing, beaches and other attractions were just great. Cons: I have to say my biggest con for this condo was the proximity to the beach. As you can see, it is advertised “only a short 3 minute walk away”. Imagine my surprise to discover that the beach is at least a 15-minute walk. It takes more than 3 minutes to walk down the stairs, across the parking lot then get on the path that takes you to the beach. What I did get was a “complimentary” golf cart ride (9 – 5) to and from the beach the first day. The ride to and from is what should be advertised, not the 3 minute walk to the beach! The next con would have to be the condition of the outside of the condo. We arrived at night and were looking around to try and find the unit. We found it but, and I know this may sound trivial, but the house numbers on this unit are basically broke in half. You only get one chance to make a first impression and unfortunately seeing those broken numbers was mine, bad. The deck itself was OK. It needs some repair but since I love to sit outside the fair condition of the deck is worth mentioning. The outside shower and foot shower is in dis-repair. The first day I went to shower off my feet, the top half of the pipe, which was held together with tape, came flying down and almost swiped a gash in me! Finally the master bath shower was very slow. Water did not drain very well, the inside shower curtain should be cleaned or replaced because there’s mold on that from the standing water. Pros: The biggest pro for this condo is the beautiful kitchen. It has modern appliances which all worked perfectly. Also the supplies were really quite nice as well. The plates and stuff were nice, lots of tableware. The Beach Walk complex was very nice. A bit on the rustic/natural side, which lends to the atmosphere of the place. The neighbors were quite; I think there was a little party somewhere one night but nothing outrageous. The dining room also a winner. Nice big table, furniture in good shape. Living room had a great flat screen mounted above the fireplace, liked that a lot. Maser bedroom bed was awesome, very comfortable King Size bed. All in all the inside of the unit was a pleasure, the air and the ceiling fans all worked very well keeping the place comfortable.

Resting in HHI

When we got ready for bed the first night our master bedroom was missing the fitted sheet. First thing the next morning I called the rental company. They sent housekeeping out promptly to replace the sheets in the master bedroom.

Great location if you prefer Shipyard

This was a nice condo in a great location within Shipyard. We have previously stayed in Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes, and have to admit that we prefer those loations over Shipyard. I also think they are prettier/more scenic. That said, this is a very convenient, super walkable location to the beach. If you have young kids but don't want to pay for oceanfront, this is a good location if you are okay with one bedroom. For such a small condo, the layout is good. Some things need updated: the washer/dryer is very loud and you can hear it in the living room, the ceiling fan in bedroom needs replaced and the oven is being repaired. Kitchen is very well stocked, and provided beach towels are nice touch.

We loved this property. It was perfect for our family and two dogs. From here you are walking distance to the beach, an inground pool, and the Shipyard is a perfect centralized location on the island in general. 10/10 would stay again

Our favorite vacation stay !

We have been staying each October at 114 Beachwalk for the last several years. We have gotten to where we now make the next year's reservation a year ahead. This condo is clean, convenient, lovely and just all around perfect. We so appreciate the added items such as the "starter supplies" and our pets really appreciate their "treat bag" ! The new renovations were so nice and appreciated and we are already looking forward to our visit next year.

Great getaway!

This property was great! Location was perfect. Around a 5 min easy walk to the beach. One small hiccup that was addressed and remedied extremely quickly by the Vacation Company. No complaints from us! Would stay again!!!!
