We enjoyed our visit there with friends and family over Thanksgiving. Cozy home with plenty of space to host a big group. Melissa was very attentive and accommodating will definitely be returning.

Excellent location on the lake. Very big house for a large family. Melissa was a great host. Great living room and dining room area for everyone to hang out in. Plenty of parking also. It’s a little bit of a hike down to the dock but a lot of houses are like that on the lake depending where you stay. Overall a great property.

We had such a nice time up in lake George over Columbus day weekend. The house was in such a great location with beautiful views of the lake. This would be a great place to swim in the summertime with the easy walk into the lake and all of the water crafts available too! My kids loved playing the board games at the house and also liked the pool table. Melissa was so sweet and welcoming. She was very helpful and seems like she really enjoys meeting her guests. Thank you Melissa for sharing your home with us!

Great Location for Skiing at Gore Mountain

House was lovely - with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to make it comfortable for extended family. My wife and I went with our 3 kids, and 2 other couples - everyone had plenty of space.

Great location!

Great property, great location, great time! My family and I went for a few days and specifically was looking for something clean with access to the lake. My brother and stepdad managed to catch 49 fish during our 3 night stay! Fantastic time.

Nice, clean, could use some updates.

My family group is very clean. Owner was friendly, professional, but was very insistent and rigid on how to recycle, even advising that she would inspect the recycling area. Linens were provided. However, we had to provide our own towels. For the steep price, I had not expected to bring my own bath towels and bath rugs.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful House and Gorgeous Location

Stayed there in November and it was a perfect cozy winter getaway. The house comfortably fit eight of us and a couple dogs with room to spare. Melissa was a wonderful host. Next time we will come back in warmer months to take advantage of the lake!

Adirondack Large Cabin.

Its a large, 5 br. It still has a cabin feel. Very nice and well maintained. Beautiful, easy to get to location. Near both Lake George village and Bolton Landing.

Perfect Lake George Getaway – Thoughtful Host and Ideal Home"

Staying at Melissa Vito’s house on Lake George was a fantastic experience! From the beginning, Melissa was incredibly forthcoming, providing detailed information about everything we’d need to arrive, settle in, and depart without any hassle. The layout of the house was ideal, with spacious, comfortable areas to relax and gather. It was also completely furnished with all the essentials—and more! Everything we could have needed was thoughtfully provided, making our stay easy and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home and look forward to returning.

We especially enjoyed the combination between private spaces in different areas of the house and spacious common space indoor, outdoors and in the game room. Weekend Family Getaway

Melissa is a wonderful host and a great communicator. Everything is organized and there are clear instructions for most things everywhere, which I really enjoyed. The multiple bathrooms are a plus - it was nice to not have to share (8 adults, 2 children). The property is beautiful and my ideal picture of a perfect, relaxing Adirondack getaway. I would like to stay here again sometime.

Beautiful Holiday Retreat

We had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays at Lake House on Lake George. The home was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Lovely stay despite the bad weather

Even though the weather was cold and rainy, my family enjoyed gathering in Melissa‘s cozy home. The easy access to the lake made it possible to do some fishing and boating in between the raindrops. Melissa was very communicative and responsive to any of our questions or needs. It was a lovely week.

Wonderful child- and pet-friendly lake house

This is a GEM at Lake George. Beautiful, private, and family friendly. We appreciated the ample living space, the bottom levels were perfect for a busy toddler to explore, and everything was easily child proofed with owner-provided baby gates and high storage spaces. We felt welcome and easily accommodated with both our child and our dog, and appreciated the owner’s communication throughout the process. The views from the boathouse and the deck above are spectacular. Highly recommend.

Great winter escape

Was everything we expected. Planning on some ice fishing but wasn't any ice.So we cast out for a bit with regular poles no bites but still had a blast with everyone. Good location for shopping in the area.would return again.

Easter get-away

The house set-up was perfect for our family as everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, yet we were all together in the main room. The large dining room was spacious and we had plenty of room to eat and play games. Bringing our canine family members was a big plus for us and Melissa provided bowls and treats for them. The weather did not cooperate for our weekend get-away, but we didn't mind as we were able to spend time together comfortably.
