Hi. Our stay had some ups and downs. The first major issue were the roads getting to the house, lots of switchbacks, twists and turns. My son got car sick because of them. Guess I missed this in the listing! The house itself was nice. Wish there was more seating in the living room. Kitchen is well stocked. The upstairs shower is small and the bed slops badly to one side to where my husband felt like he was going to roll off the bed. There were dirty towels folded with clean ones laid out for us to use. The setting is peaceful and quiet. The garage is nice for the kids to play in, they really enjoyed playing ping pong. Thanks!

Easy Breezy is a BEAUTIFUL space with everything you need to enjoy the mountains, whether you leave the neighborhood or not! The screened in porch downstairs was our favorite perch for reading and relaxing. We had a blast with the game room and poker table. Since this house is 3 stories with 3 full baths, we had so much space to spread out and go our own way. It would be a great spot to share with another family, though this was just us. The community pool is a great size and goes up to 6' deep. It wasn't overcrowded, even on the hottest day. It is a bit of a drive to grocery stores and restaurants, but that's the mountains. We had no trouble getting to and from Boone or Blowing Rock. Horseback riding was a bit over 20 minutes away at Leatherwood, which was a great treat! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big meal, and there is great seating indoors and out to enjoy your meals. The hosts were VERY quick to respond to our questions, and the house includes a little tablet that doubles as your messenger and guidebook. My only request would be for the community association to blaze its hiking trails and provide slightly better maps/clearer directions...and to maintain the pedal boats. We didn't kayak the lake, but there is a VERY easy loop to put in your own if desired. We didn't use the camground, but we did drive down that way, and it's a great creek to play in! We'd highly recommend this place and this property management company for another rental in the area!!!

This property was as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. We enjoyed using the Blackstone one evening. It was nice to have a king bed in each of the bedrooms. The upstairs bed sloped badly and felt like we were going to fall off if we got too near the edge. Upon our arrival, the AC was set much higher than we liked. It took about 10 hours to cool down the whole house. The basement rooms then became too cold while leaving the two upstairs rooms comfortable. Our first night there (Thursday), the power went out around 4 a.m. It did not come back on until the next afternoon. Once the power was restored, the Wi-Fi remained out for all of the next day and finally came back on Saturday afternoon. Because there was no power, the pool and other neighborhood amenities were closed.None of this was the fault of the host, and she tried to help by offering the neighborhood clubhouse as a place to access Wi-Fi if needed. I just want others to be aware that this may happen, and it would be helpful to bring a portable internet device if you have one.The lack of power, Wi-Fi, and phone signal made the stay feel quite isolating and made it hard to find places to go eat when we didn’t want to cook at the house. Since the pool was closed when we were planning to swim, we pivoted and drove down to a little creek in the neighborhood and had a picnic in a nice area right by the water. The kids loved playing in the creek for a few hours, and it was nice to be outside.
