The house has four bedrooms - all with large closets and dressers, extra blankets, and backup pillows.
The first floor offers a Queen bed in a quiet corner room and a second bedroom with a twin bed, powered recliner, and TV. This second room was designed for the owner's mom to use during visits and is particularly nice for an elderly traveler (or teen). Equipment for an elderly guest (walker, cane, bathroom support rails, etc.) are on premise and can be available upon request. A large walk-in rain-shower is found in the first floor bathroom. A blow-dryer is also stored in the sink cabinet.
The second floor offers a large master bedroom with a Queen bed, black-out shades, a 55" TV, and a large closet. A second upstairs bedroom offers a twin bed. The upstairs bathroom is set up as a tub/shower combo.
The touch-screen HVAC system was upgraded to a heat pump in August of 2025. The hot water heater, dishwasher, and several electrical systems were also replaced and are brand new.
The basement level TV room is accessed through the large laundry room - which also includes a piano keyboard, dual monitor work station, and all the laundry items you'll need during your stay.

About the host
Hosted by Karl Moeller
Welcome to Longmont! I’ve lived in Colorado (at least part time) my whole life. While I grew up on the east coast, summers were spent at a family cabin in a small town just outside Rocky Mountain National Park. Since moving here full time in June, I fixed several things here at the Longmont house. It now has a new HVAC and hot water system, new dishwasher, new TV room in the basement, and other upgrades you won’t see - but that should make your stay easy and enjoyable.
I know this part of Colorado well and am happy to give you tips to help you enjoy your stay. I'm working on a binder for the house with a “things to do” section at the end, so take a look there for ideas - or just call.
I’m normally back east or up in the mountains when I rent out my house. If I can't fix something, I have family and friends in Longmont who are ready to support you while you are here – if needed.

Why they chose this property
When a nephew moved to Longmont a few years back, I started spending more time here and loved it. Coming from Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, this town was just the pace I was looking for. Lots to do, plenty of places to go for coffee or food, but still a small community feel and quiet streets. Longmont is also only an hour from great skiing, great hikes, awesome fly fishing, city attractions in both Boulder or Denver, less than an hour to the airport... I love that I moved here!
What makes this property unique
My street is a quiet oasis with few cars and friendly neighbors. After walking 15 minutes or less, you can be standing on Main Street wondering where to get a drink and dinner. There are a billion places to visit by car - and busses to Boulder and Denver (and the airport from there) leave from just three blocks away.
