We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties over the years, and this one truly stood out. It was incredibly convenient, well equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.The owner, Jared, went above and beyond to think of the little things that make a big difference, from coffee and cups to pet supplies and so many other thoughtful touches. Those details made the property feel less like a rental and more like a home.The deck was absolutely perfect for fishing, and we had a fantastic time catching more than 30 bluegill, catfish, and bass over just a few days. The beds were very comfortable, the entire house was clean and well maintained, and everything was exactly as described.We’re very grateful for the hospitality and the care that clearly went into making this a wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful getaway, and we would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!

Hosts are friendly and accessible. This is a very comfortable house. Furniture and beds very cushy. The deck is right on the water and I saw water misters installed that would be great during the hot weather. Perfect place to chill by the lake.

The host, Jared, was most welcoming and helpful! The location offers beautiful and inspiring views of the lake being right on the lake with some garden to the left of house. Deck across front of house for viewing magnificent sunset and sunrise less so. House is well equipped and heated with mini-splits in each room. Most comfortable beds. Newer shower.

The house is a diamond in the rough with outstanding and stunning views of the Lake and Mount Konocti ( I think that's the name of that large tree covered mountain). The sunsets were long and dramatic due to the position of the house on the lake. Basically you get sun all day, from first thing in the morning to that last ray of sunlight. One can either hang on the sunny outer deck, underneath the covered deck (with cooling fans) or out on the lawn area. We saw fishing jumping, lots of aquatic birds and an eagle swooping to the water for dinner all while it was being harassed by 2 ravens. The heated radiant floor heat in the master bathroom and its good sized walk in closet were nice touches that increased comfort. If you are sensitive to light or road noise, simply bring an eye mask and ear plugs. There is bug spray to use if lake insects bother you but the bugs also do a nice job of feeding the lizards and smaller birds flying about. Be sure to check out the "wine locker" and/or take in a movie on the roughly 80 inch TV. Our planets were aligned on this trip and it is truly a special feeling being right on the water with those views. oh, those views. The neighbors were cool too. Peace !

Everything about the house and host was great. I think we just had a storm of bad luck. Jared notified us before the trip one AC unit broke and offered a full refund. He checked the others and they worked. We decided to keep the trip. He provided a small air cooler to help with the heat. Once we got there we found out all the units were down. Jared again offered a full refund with cancellation or a discount on the trip. We took the discount.There was an algae bloom which I think caused a swarm of midges (a small bug). This became a problem since we needed the windows open to cool the house without AC. The windows did not have screens and the ones that did have screens had holes and/or weren't set in the frame properly so bugs were able to get in the house.If the AC had been working I don't think this would have been a problem and Jared assisted to the best of his ability.

Konocti Casa is a jewel. Spacious accommodations, every amenity that one might need, impeccable and accommodating host, and spacious deck right on the lake. We caught a good amount of fish right off the deck. Highly recommended and we plan to stay there many more times.

Raised on Clear Lake, We are passionate about wakeboarding, wake surfing, and lake life. The vision is to add a swim dock and boat lift, allowing guests the option of renting 2 jet skies and a boat during the stay. Clear Lake is a huge, beautiful lake and we want guests the opportunity to relax, make nice meals and enjoy the back deck, and soak in the beauty. Our favorite is to eat dinner and play cornhole on the back deck for sunset

Why they chose this property

We love the view here! We live in Petaluma, and so when I come to Clear Lake I bring all my groceries for the week so that I can spend all the time enjoying the lake and lakefront home.

What makes this property unique

It’s beautiful view from all parts of the home. It’s cozy with nice modern kitchen and TV’s. We want to continue to make this the most fun home, and it’s still a work in progress so welcoming feedback and ideas from guests
