A Unique Old Florida Home. Built originally as the family's boat house in the 50's, then converted into a family home in the 70's. Most of the original charm has been preserved.

Escape to this Waterfront house on picturesque Lake Eustis.

With three comfortable upstairs bedrooms featuring one king bed and a queen bed and two Twin beds, guests find plenty of space to relax. Two bedrooms offer lake views plus access to the balcony that is overlooking the spacious enclosed screened porch, and the third bedroom with lake views. Each bedroom with easy access to full bathroom, equipped with tub/shower combination and double sink vanity.

The interior stays pleasant year-round thanks to heating and air conditioning.

Step inside and feel the serene atmosphere that invites you to unwind and enjoy your time. Picturesque windows and sliding doors for 180° Lake Views! The large spacious covered screened porch is perfect for relaxing and entertaining.

Boat dock available with lights and power (extra fee)--one covered slip, two uncovered spots. So bring your boat or rent one nearby, and enjoy this unique Chain of Lakes! (Fishing gear also available upon request.)

But Most Outstanding are the amazing Lake Views and Dramatic Sunsets that will not disappoint. We look forward to hosting you at our unique peaceful Sunset House.

Set both thermostats to Cool 88°F Close and Lock all windows and doors
If you used the fireplace: Check that the Flue is closed. Cleanup fireplace after use (use metal ash bucket).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
ONLY use fireplace if Experienced with fireplaces. NOTE: flue is kept closed when not in use.

We were an outdoor family ... water skiing in Florida, snow skiing in Vermont, snorkeling in crystal clear waters of Florida's natural springs, riding the waves at Florida beaches, scalloping in Florida's Gulf coast, hiking mountains in Vermont, etc. We love God's natural beauty.

Why they chose this property

Our goal was to have a place on the water with a gorgeous sunset view! This home is overflowing in unique character and charm, while having the most awesome Sunset views imaginable. The home is close to town, yet has a country feel being set back off the road on its half- acre lot.

What makes this property unique

This charming home has so many unique features starting when you first walk in and see the built-in stone fish pond with gold fish that welcome you, the warm feel of the kitchen with all the cedar and brickwork, the large open living room full of windows to enjoy the views of the lake and sliding doors that completely tucked away so the large screened porch area becomes an extension of the living room. So many more unique features to explore during your stay!
