This 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom home is located in beautiful, historic NE Ocala, Florida. Our goal is to welcome guests who appreciate comfort, uniqueness & charm – who like to be less than 1/2-mile from downtown boutiques, eateries, entertainment & parks. Kick-back, literally, on a comfy leather sofa. Read a steamy novel in an inviting nook. Play boardgames on an oversized farm table. Tell scary stories around a blazing fire pit. And have sweet dreams atop a comfy, queen-sized Purple mattress! This little cutie has two bedrooms. The front bedroom has a queen-sized bed. You'll LOVE the Purple Brand mattress. So, so cozy. This bedroom is also equipped with a 43" Samsung TV so you can enjoy a lazy day in bed. The back bedroom has a twin-sized daybed with a pull out, twin-size trundle bed – so it sleeps two, but separately or side-by-side. There are extra blankets and throws as well. Both rooms have a full-sized mirror. There is a blow-up mattress in the hall closet in the event anyone wants to "camp out" in the living room or other shared space. The house has central air & heat and the thermostat is in the hallway. This home is located in Ocala's Northeast Historic District • 2.4 miles from Southeastern Livestock Pavilion • 9.4 miles from the World Equestrian Center • 5.1 miles from Silver Springs State Park & its World Famous Glass Bottom Boats • .5 miles from Ocala's Downtown Square • .5 miles from Ocala Fire Station #3 • 38 miles from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville • 75 miles to hit sand in World Famous Daytona Beach. Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave all used towels and rags in the bathtub. Please leave all lights and lamps off. Please leave the thermostat off.
We will handle household trash & anything left in the fridge. Please make sure all cigarette butts & pet doodie is pick-up & discarded.
If you used the firepit during your stay, we simply ask you make sure it is fully extinguished before you leave the house. One small wind to a burning ember and – POOF – there goes the neighborhood.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Smoking is permitted but limited to our outdoor firepit deck ONLY. Porches, decks or indoors is strictly prohibited. Fees will apply.
We love pet guests but bringing undisclosed pets is prohibited. Pets and pet fees must be addressed at time of booking. Thank you for your honesty.
Submit complaints IMMEDIATELY upon check-in. Host will correct the issue OR guest may leave ASAP for refund. If guest chooses to stay, no refund.

Everything was just as it was sad to be. Very clean and decorated/furnished super cute. Loved the fenced in back yard and fire pit. Was perfect for our family and stay!

This was a wonderful stay in Ocala. This home has everything you need and is close to most everything! The home was clean, well maintained and decorated. It is clear that the host has put time and thought into designing this home. Host and home deserves the highest rating, wish we could give 10 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is an adorable little house and very comfortable and very clean. Our host went over and above, but also gave us our space. She was extremely responsive. We were delighted with the whole experience and we did use the kitchen to cook and found everything we needed.The backyard space is really cute for sitting outside with cafe lights and a nice fire pit.Strongly recommend- we found no flaws.

I anticipated this review after realizing this guest had smoked in our home and snuck in their pet. During the cleaning process, I contacted this guest about the cigarette butts and blunts and ashes that were left as well as dog pee on our rug. I requested a $25 pet fee Since this guest had not disclosed that during the time of booking. I was immediately called a liar despite the many photos I sent them. I was told the pee was there when they arrived. Mind you, this is our very first guest in this home. I was berated and belittled by this guest. Our home reeked of cigarette smoke after their stay. There were other disgusting messes left behind. I gave them all day to make this right by Simply sending me the $25 pet fee and they refused, calling me money hungry among many other names. Upon checking in and out, they sent me messages about how beautiful and clean the home is, how wonderful it smelled and how they look forward to coming back. Now all of a sudden it has roaches… all because they violated our home rules and were asked to submit a $25 payment. We take great pride in our home. We went over and beyond to accommodate them on a Christmas day check in. Not once did they complain about anything during their stay. It’s sad some people act this way when hosts, like myself, will bend over backwards to make sure each stay is enjoyable, accommodating, and most importantly, clean and sanitary for future guests. Future reviews will no doubt prove that! Happy new year!

I can’t recommend this home enough! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, cozy feel that made us feel instantly at home.The house was incredibly well-stocked — from the kitchen (with quality pots and pans, coffee supplies, and more) to the extra pillows, blankets, and even a first aid kit. You could tell the space was curated with care and attention to detail — the kind that often signals a woman’s thoughtful touch. Everything I might have needed was already there.The owner was fantastic to work with: kind, responsive, and proactive in her communication, which made the entire experience seamless.It was also the perfect setup for my dogs. The yard was a great size and fully fenced, which gave me peace of mind knowing they were safe and able to roam comfortably.If you're looking for a clean, charming, fully equipped home base for your next trip — especially if you’re traveling with pets — this is it.

This place was great for my two week stay. Kelli was very responsive and informative of everything. Beds are all comfortable and the space is cute, my dog also loved the backyard! Would book here again!

My husband and I purchased this home shortly after the end of Covid. We recognized it’s such a quaint, historic location, but still close to an evolving downtown Square, boasting with boutiques, eateries, breweries, and fun places for our guest to visit - conveniently!
