Ocean views all over house, pool, beach access in front of deck/screened porch. Access is handicapped accessible. Great ocean views and beach access with the second row price! This house, called Sea View, is a charming, traditional, ocean-side, beach house . It is one of the few historical cottages left on the island. The warmth and charm are there and we have up-dated and remodeled. It has five bedrooms and three full baths . Upstairs, bedroom one has a king, bedroom two has a queen and bunk, and bedroom three has a queen and twin. The downstairs apt has a queen in one bedroom and a small bedroom has a double bed. There is a double futon in the living area as well....all of this makes sleeping arrangements more flexible. Two additional, enclosed, beach showers are downstairs as well. There is a huge deck and screened porch with OCEAN VIEWS from all over the house. We are seven minutes from Wild Dunes, and 20 minutes from Charleston. The beach access is DIRECTLY in front of the house, and you are just seconds from the water! There is a private pool in the back yard and you are within WALKING distance of restaurants and shops!!!

'Sea View"' is very charming and lends itself to a variety of needs with sleeping arrangements to accommodate 2 to 12 guests comfortably. The down stairs is actually an attached mother-in-law' s apartment which adds to its flexibility. WiFi included as well!

There is off-street parking for 4 vehicles. The home is equipped with two separate living areas, fireplace, and large sun room, as well as washer/dryer. Features include tongue-and-groove oak walls and heart of pine floors. Flat screen TV's with cable are in just about every room!...and free wi-fi! A private swimming pool adds to the perfect location. There is a gas grill available, and if you have a pet (maximum of two), it is welcome with a pet fee per pet. The house is just a block from shops and restaurants....located at 817 Ocean Blvd., IOP..... Prices vary according to the season.
We have added a private driveway and parking space so whether the surf is up or down, there are places to park!

We have owed and managed this beach house for over 30 years. We live just a couple of blocks away, so we are close if our guests need anything at all!!! Keywords: Beach House, 'Sea View' Feel free to call me with any questions. 843-442-2227

This property had it all! Enough beds to sleep all the girls with the perfect mother in law apartment downstairs. Close to shopping and restaurants for walking, very close beach access, and clean pool for when we were feeling lazy!!! Highly recommend and Carly was very easy to communicate with for even the most simple questions!

Girls’ beach week

The house was great for a group of girls and a few of their moms, with plenty of room and really nice features like the ground-level showers and the pool. We enjoyed the close beach access and the ability to walk to shops and restaurants. The house was charming and comfortable, with nice decor and lots of spaces to sit and relax with friends. We would love to return for future trips.

Lovely home with 5 sleeping areas and private pool. Very convenient to walk to beach and IOP restaurants. My older daughter loved having a private apartments downstairs. We also loved the screened front porch... able to hear the ocean and enjoy the sea breezes.

Great house with amazing beach access!

The house is less than 2 blocks from the windjammer and other restaurants on the island, and is literally across the road from the beach. While the house interiors are a little dated, the house has several bedrooms and is very functional. Would definitely recommend for a visit!

Family Thanksgiving

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location is perfect for daily walks on the beach and very close for day trips to Charlston and Ft. Sumter. The home is spacious and comfortable. Our family of 11 had a wonderful time staying at this home. We loved the house (farm house sink is fabulous). Older, comfortable home, steps from the beach...with a pool in the backyard! Hard not to have a great time.

Perfect location!

We loved the location - easy access to beach & quick walk to restaurants & ice cream! The house is very charming & accommodated our group of 6 adults & 3 children perfectly. The pool was a big hit with the kids & adults, and the enclosed outdoor showers were a big plus. Carly & Steve were very gracious in responding to any needs. We would definitely rent again!

We have owed and managed this beach house for over 25 years. We live just a couple of blocks away, so we are close if our guests need anything at all!!!

Why they chose this property

The house is located DIRECTLY across a dead-end street from the ocean and the beach access is right in front of the screened porch and deck. You are 10 seconds from the water!!! There are ocean views from all over the house, and there is a private pool in the back yard. Also because the shops and restaurants are a block away, the location is perfect!!!
