Ground floor living was a plus for me as I traveled with my mom. Some traffic noise was unavoidable as your conveniently right off the 495. Host was very responsive.

Very clean and convenient! A great value. Note to future stayers- my gps took me across the street from where the actual location is. Also, the heat is all electric heaters so the apartment takes some time to warm up.

The good: private, kitchen, washer/dryer. Looks new. Price is great.Needs improvement: communication could be better, kitchen had minimal supplies so we couldn't use it unless we bought plates, silverware, bakeware, etc.

good, it was fairly close to everything on long island, the hamptons, fire island ferry, jones beach, the gold coast mansions. Fairly new place to stay, real close to islip airport.Bad it is listed with a microwave, doesn't have one. either take it off the listing or go to walmart and buy one real simple choice for the owner.It is right by major highways and so you can here alot of road noise.It is listed as having Air Conditioning. It does have a portal ac hooked to the living room window but none in the bedroom. The AC could not keep up and it was warm the whole time and even hot in the bedroom. We were there at the end of July so it was really hot for long island. They need to upgrade the AC situation. There were portable heaters in the closet and that is probably what you will have in the winter.Place has lots of potential just needs a little refining

First of all, Sandra, the host, contacted me the day of arrival that the apartment would not be ready at 3:00, the check in time, due to the cleaning crew not finishing. She delayed me until 7 pm! I had flown in for my daughter’s surprise party and could not get to the apartment until after dark. She told me by text that the key would be “in the window”. My family was with me to help get me moved in. There was no outside light to help the four of us so we searched by flashlight for 10 minutes, and there was no key to be found! The exterior yard was overgrown with weeds which did not help the overall feeling of security. By this time, I had pretty much “had it” since it was 10 pm of a long travel day. I, and my other daughter, who was traveling with me, decided to find a hotel room since we had no access to the apartment. I’m requesting a full refund because I was denied access.

Everything about this property was terrible. Booked in January for July. Locsted in the back of a garage. Wr arrived to 3ft high weeds, a fence we could bearly open because of the weeds and the fence being broken. Asked host to have the yard cut. I was told it was too short notice to get someone out to cut it. I confirmed the reservation the qeek of my trip and i. Ioked in January. Unfinished bathroom that was 90 degrees. An air conditioner that was taped up with painters tape to keep it in the windows. Bedroom Window has a towel covering it with broken blinds. Be careful where you park the space was full of broken glass and metal and trash. . The host was absolutely terrible was not very responsive. Stayed one night and left early to stay at a hotel.

Excellent location! Quaint spot in a safe neighborhood. Communication was difficult for check-in. Had requested checkin details 2 days prior to our late night arrival, but didn’t hear back. Getting ahold of Sandra by phone was not difficult, but not ideal late at night confused how to find and access the house, especially when we could’ve gotten those details ahead of time. AC had gone out prior to our arrival, so a mini floor unit was installed and working, ahead of our stay. Slightly tough to keep the bedroom cool with the one unit but living room area felt good. No real complaints on that. Cleanliness was hit and miss. There were stains on the sheets and mattress. We washed the sheets (with the laundry machine in the unit which was a bonus!) but it didn’t come out so we bought our own fresh sheets and blanket for piece of mind.Most of everything else was clean/looked clean. Few minor things, but it’s not a hotel with maid service so we were understanding. Checkout was smooth, only requests were to gather towels, turn off the lights and return the key where we got it, so that was easy for our 4:40am departure! Super reasonable price! Would totally stay again, definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice budget place. Definitely worth the price. Easy to get to train stations and the airport. Good restaurants around (shoutout Phayathai Thai restaurant!!).

Owner was very responsive to emails. Almost surprisingly answering within 30 minutes. Though I ate out all meals while in the area, I wanted to heat up a breakfast muffin but there was no microwave though noted there was one. I also traveled with a brother-in-law so the sofa pull out was great; however, there was no comforter. I didn't sleep in it so it didn't bother me but my brother-in-law had to sleep in sweatshirt/sweatpants.Overall, place is great though!

Sage is amazing! I really enjoyed my time away from the kids and to have my me-time to myself! My only take away is that there are tenants upstairs so I you may hear them walking around at times throughout the visit, but overall it is a cozy place!
