The Cottage is a 1 bedroom 1 bath fully furnished studio apartment with wifi, utilities and electricity included. It feels like a cozy beach cottage with a kitchenette perfect for 1 person including a hot plate, toaster oven, electric frying pan, microwave, kitchen sink and counter, and extra large mini fridge with separate freezer. It has a beautiful view out of the front window to Candlers Mountain and its sunsets (especially in winter.)

Welcome to our peaceful family home, located in a quiet neighborhood on a little hill, and with a private patio. This home is convenient to all your needs in town: restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores within a few minutes and colleges and hospitals within a few miles. It’s also just a few exits from the downtown area where you can enjoy trails along the James River during the day or nightlife in the evening.
What makes this property unique
Our home is one of a kind. The main house/haven has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. You will find the Hideaway downstairs, which is a 1 bedroom studio apartment with its own entrance from outside. Lastly, the Cottage is a separate studio apartment off to the side of the main home.
The patio area and the driveway are the only shared components of your stay. There’s plenty of on-property parking.
Feel free to inquire about the other units if you’re needing additional rental space during your stay. The downstairs hideaway can be connected via an inside locked staircase for travelers looking to stay together, but with your own private space.
