the property and location were good and worked fine for us, but I do have some thoughts for improvement. The property was very clean, and the layout (of the bedrooms and bathrooms) was perfect for 3 couples to share. The kitchen, while nice and clean, was not fully stocked. Most places include staples like coffee, sugar and basic spices. This kitchen did not have those items. The bedrooms were clean and nice but the pillows were uncomfortable. All the bathrooms were clean and stocked with towels, shampoo/conditioner, and soap. The only check out information was the time we needed to leave. I did not know where to leave sheets or towels, trash, etc. I would have started a laundry load with either towels or sheets but no detergent was available. Perhaps the biggest issue was communication. When we first arrived, we could not get onto the property. We were not given the access code to open the gate. Luckily, a neighbor opened the gate for us. However, when I reached out to get the code, the host did not have the information right away. We had to wait to get it until after we got back from dinner. To improve, it would be nice to have garage door openers. We did find one in a drawer, but it only opened one side. Since we had two among the 5 of us, it would have been nice to have more than one.
