The Retro Haven was a great place to stay for a quick visit to NC State! It was clean and cute, it had everything we could need. The beds were comfy and the home was convenient to campus.
The property was clean and perfect for our one-night stay. Large, well-appointed kitchen with a fully stocked coffee bar, full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. The bathroom, while clean and modern, needs work on the shower doors, and the toilet is tiny, but it met our needs. If you're looking for a quiet place near N.C. State, this is a good option.
Very clean and well stocked house. Loved how comfortable it was. My only complaint was that we arrived after dark and I wasn’t sure how to use the keypad since it didn’t light up and there were no porch lights. Once we got inside we were very happy and enjoyed a short relaxing weekend. Everything we wanted to do was within 20 minutes and there are tons of food locations nearby. Street parking by other houses made the road a little tight so having a dedicated driveway was awesome
This is a great little find. First it’s super clean and well decorated. Everything is really cozy and comfortable from the beds and linens to all of the provided coffees and teas. Even the checkout directions are written thoughtfully - showing what needs to be done (which was minimal) and what they would like done if you have time. I would definitely stay again!
House was great! Suggested to leave a couple more towels especially for longer stays. The neighborhood was quiet. Also suggest possibly more outdoor seating especially in the back on the deck and spruce that area up. House was clean and perfectly roomy enough for my party of 2 and it is located in a great section to access a walking lake trail or downtown! I would definitely rent again!
The place was clean with lots of kitchen essentials. The only issue we had was the musty smell of the house. It’s an older home so I understand that could contribute to it. I’m sensitive to smells and have allergies. So that was our only issue.
