In the heart of South Lake Tahoe, Carol's place is less than 2 miles to the lake and 4 miles to the casinos. The open floor plan includes a comfortable Living Room with a 46” HD TV, Wi-Fi, Internet and cable. Leather sofa and chairs offer comfortable seating before the Woodstove fireplace. The recently remodeled Kitchen has new stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. You will enjoy using top of the line cookware and utensils. The cabin sleeps 5 easily. A good night’s sleep is assured in the spacious Master Bedroom with its luxurious Cal King sized mattress. The adjacent deck offers a mountain view. The Guest Bedroom also has top quality mattresses on both the bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top) and separate twin bed. The Laundry Room, with a full-sized LG washer and dryer is in the mud room, adjacent to the kitchen. The newly remodeled bathroom has a tub, shower and new fixtures with upgraded finishes. A large backyard, gas barbecue and a propane fire-pit yours to enjoy as well.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put all dirty towels on the laundry room floor.
Put all trash in plastic bags in the bearbox
If a dog is allowed please clean up all dog waste from the backyard.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If pets are included in your stay please dispose of all dog waste in a plastic bag and discard in the bear box.
During winter months leave kitchen door open to the mud room so the heat will circulate and the pipes won't freeze.
Use key pad on front door for entry, Only use key in the lockbox as a backup. No need to lock screen door when you are leaving.

Carols cabin was very clean. It has all the necessary kitchen items to make your stay very accommodating. The backyard is fenced with a nice propane fire ring and BBQ. The cabin has all the amenities you could ask for. Thanks Carol for an amazing stay.

This home was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood and close to all the activities we wanted to enjoy. Having the open space to walk our dogs and the bike trails just a couple blocks away was AWESOME! The house was fully appointed for our needs and the fully fenced and private back yard/firepit was a big bonus for us and our dogs - they really love the room to romp! The host Carol was VERY responsive when we encountered a plumbing issue and was extremely gracious to work with us to extend our stay. I highly recommend this home as a fantastic "base camp" to stay and play in South Lake Tahoe! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Carol’s place was excellent! Carol was a great host, she let us know we could check-in early, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. Her home was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend. The kitchen was well stocked, comfortable beds and great location in a quiet neighborhood. We would love to stay at Carol’s place again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was cozy, charming, and tucked away in a peaceful location while still being close to everything we wanted to do. It was the perfect home base for exploring Lake Tahoe. It was like our home away from home - everything we could have needed, we had there.We enjoyed beautiful weather, sunsets at Regan Beach, boating and swimming at Emerald Bay, and the incredible views from Heavenly. Evenings by the fire roasting marshmallows under the stars made the trip especially memorable.We only wish we could have stayed longer. Tahoe was one of the highlights of our California road trip, and we would gladly stay here again.

The place was pretty much what we expected. Great place for kids with games, stuffies, and durable bunk beds. There's a walking trail just down the street which was great for the dog. For a family of four there was more than enough room.

Great stay

The owner is terrific, very helpful and responsive. This property is located in a quiet neighborhood with many nice walking paths close by. All necessities and stores are within a short drive. Great place for a long stay.

Cute and cozy

The house was perfect for the 3 of us. Close to the beach, hiking trails, and restaurants. The house had all the amenities we needed and Carol was very flexible with our arrival time.

Charming and Relaxing getaway

Carol was good about all the instructions and in case emergencies happened there was someone to contact at any time. The house felt like a home away from home, very cozy and close to downtown and all amenities. I will hopefully be staying there again sometime this year.
