The home was as pictured, the host has covered many thoughtful touches like the alarm clock sound machines. The property is close to wind cave entrance which we used several times. Our family enjoyed the outdoor space even though the greenery isn’t in yet. The beds were comfortable, we played games, the kitchen was stocked for our meal cooking and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. Custer was about an hour away, we hiked and drove needles highway. We enjoyed exploring the area with pine lodge as our base!

Loved this house! It feels brand new, was extremely clean, and the peaceful country setting was exactly what we were looking for. The location worked out great for exploring the Black Hills. We drove up to Mount Rushmore, through Custer State Park on Iron Mountain Road, back down Needles Highway, and over to the Wildlife Loop with ease. One of the best parts was relaxing on the patio at night around the firepit after long days exploring. The house was stocked with thoughtful amenities, including s’mores supplies (which the kids were very excited to discover since I didn't think to bring any!).Bonus points for being dog-friendly, our pup settled in immediately, loved the provided treats, and was very comfortable during our stay.We enjoyed it so much that we’re already talking about coming back next year with more family, and we would very likely stay here again.

Oh my we hit the jackpot! This beautiful newly built home sits on a piece of heaven! The home met all of our needs! Plenty of sleeping arrangements, plenty of comfortable seating and we all fit around the dining room table to share a meal and play games! The property - if you want to know about the Black Hills, this is where you should stay. When we ventured out to sightsee, we could arrive at our locations within 20 to 30 minutes. National landmarks, wonderful dining, etc. but when we stayed at the property, we saw the best sites. We saw the bright shining stars, we saw the moon rise and set. We saw plenty of wildlife. We heard the wind blow through the trees and we heard the birds singing. But more important is what we didn’t see or hear, we didn’t see or hear traffic , we didn’t see or hear neighbors, we had only ourselves in a peaceful setting that brought us time to enjoy each other. Our hosts were so personable and trust me, we will be back!

We had a great stay here! We vacationed with extended family and the home worked our great for all of our needs. The location is a bit out in the sticks but a short walk to Wind Cave National Park where we saw so many bison and prairie dogs, and a short drive (20 minutes) to Custer State Park. The host thought of everything as far as extra amenities and the check out process was one of the easiest when compared to other places we have stayed. I would definitely recommend!
