This holiday house is situated on the edge of the “de Schans” holiday park by a little water moat. The quiet location and the unobstructed view of the Friesland landscape ensure a relaxing stay. The house offers everything you need for a perfect holiday.

The house is fully-furnished and can accommodate up to six people. The ground floor has a living and dining room with a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, satellite TV and a dining table for up to six people. The adjoining little open kitchen is equipped with an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a stove, a coffee machine, a microwave and a toaster. The ground floor also has a bedroom with two single beds (90cm wide), a guest WC with a toilet and washbasin, as well as a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and hairdryer. On the upper floor there is a bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a double bed (180cm wide), as well as a balcony. A washing machine can be used for a fee. The owner can provide a highchair and board games for all ages free of charge. There is heating in all rooms, internet is available in the whole house and on the property.

On the terrace facing south-west with a vestibule, garden furniture and a fixed grill, you can enjoy the sunset every evening in the Friesland nature characterised by agriculture. The site ends by a little canal and you can play on the lawns. There is a sandpit with toys within sight from the terrace. There is also another smaller terrace right by the water, surrounded by a sheltering hedge. There are seven private car parking spaces. Pets are not allowed and the owners are non-smokers.

You can buy everyday basics and fresh bread rolls daily at the Esonstadt supermarket about 600 metres away. Other amenities and shops such as a bank, butcher, a large supermarket and a bakery can be found in Anjum 3km away. You can access the Internet at the neighbouring harbour restaurant. Some trip recommendations: the fishing museum in Modergaat, the seal breeding station in Pieterburen, the fishing harbour in Lauwersoog, a trip on the Lauwersmeer, walks in the Lauwersmeer national park, bird watching, walks on the tidal flats, a day trip to the island Schiermonnikoog or to Dokkum (the northernmost town in the Netherlands and former pilgrimage town to St. Bonifatius), cycle tours, fishing or kayaking.
