Comfortable and Cozy - Great parking, great pool and spa, great beach, great access to shops, restaurants, grocery, gambling, and recreation. Great shower water pressure!
Perfectly appointed condo right on the lake. Easy walking access to so much and the studio has everything you need. Very clean and spacious we enjoyed our stay very much.
The check in was easy and the unit was warm when we arrived. outside was very cold. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Grocery store within walking distance, the lake beach and pier are amazing and the show and slots of Lake Tahoe were just an Uber ride away. This is a great location. We would stay again.
Great beach with a large pier. Property grounds and common areas clean but dated. Nice property for a couple’s stay. Property owner was excellent in keeping in touch prior to and during our stay.
Loved our stay. Was mostly quiet (upstairs, creaky floor not too loud) and right near the pool and spa. Short walk to the private beach (super soft sand!) and nice neighbors all around. 5 min drive to stateline or 10min to the Y. I would definitely come back
Looked exactly like the photo. Warm, cozy, much larger than expected. Not one incidential you could think of that was not already provided. Close to grocery, pharmacy, marina and casinos. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
The condo is exactly as advertised. Check in and check out was super easy. Fast response from owner with miscellaneous questions. Perfect place for a couple to stay while in Tahoe.
Great condo on the lake with a private beach. Owner is easy to communicate with and he checked in to make sure our stay was going well. As advertised and in a great location. Well maintained property inside and out. We rented efoils and went scuba diving. Whole Foods is right across the street a d we ate in every night. Will be back for sure for summer and winter activities!
The room is very nice and well appointed. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Plenty of amenities and located close to everything. The property itself is a little rundown and looks like it’s being renovated but winters are harsh up here. Host was great to rent from very good communication.
The studio apt was clean and comfy. It's on the main road, so occasionally noisy, but a solid fan/AC unit in the room really helped. The kitchen is very small, so preparing meals can be challenging. Mark was very supportive and responsive, checking in on us during our stay via texts. Nice complex, with beach access, which is a bonus, and easy access to the less crowded pool/hot tub - winning! A really good choice for our vacation.
Very clean and good value. The owner provides very detailed instructions and is attentive. My only complaint is that the lanai overlooks Highway 50 without any buffer for the traffic noise.

Thank you. The Lanai overlooks the pool with the street on the other side of the fence and bike path. The sliding door and window is double pane glass and quiet when closed.
We thought the property was great! Close to everything.
The only problem we had was when we tried to start the dishwasher, we couldn’t get it to start. We had done most of the dishes by hand, so there was just a few left in dishwasher that didn’t get clean, otherwise everything went great!

Thank you. The dishwasher works fine, you just have to press the start button for a few seconds. Anyway, next time, please call us if you need help or have any questions, rather than mention it in a review, so we can help or solve it immediately.
We enjoy this unit.
It’s very cozy with the fireplace!
We only had one washcloth and I think you might consider a new toaster.
Other than that we could not have had a nicer time. Thanks again!
We will see you again next year!
We’ll be leaving around 10:30.
Aloha, Ed and Jeanne ❤️

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
I
Pros: located in the heart of SLT, Condo building amenities, staff on site, waterfront access, hot tubs/pool, easy parking/access.
Cons: condo had a mold and/or smoke smell, mattress is in bad shape, poor layout/use of space of condo with the bed right next to the kitchen, Disaster Company onsite making repairs throughout the building which was worrisome.

Thanks for your comments. However, i can assure there is no mold. Tahoe has the dryest air ever. Perhaps you smelled left-over smoke from the recent forest fires. As for the layout, we find that people prefer to have the bed away from the A/C unit. Our pictures show the layout clearly, so there should not have been any surprises. I will look at the mattress, but your comment didn't say if it was too soft or not. As for a company doing repairs on site, that is quite common in a large resort..
My overall impression of the property has not changed in forty years. Excellent location. We like it.
However, there is renovation construction going on at the main building. From 8 am to 5 pm it is noisy, disturbing and unsafe. Had to walk through active construction area to access the room. This condition was not communicated at the time the reservation was made. Nor was it explained at the time of check in. The off-site owner said he did not know it was taking place. Being awakened by loud banging and hammering did not make for a peaceful, relaxing or pleasant stay.

I'm very sorry. This was an unusual and unanticipated 1-day project to replace a beam in the breezeway to the lobby. I surely would have let you know if it was announced. And I'm sure they would not have allowed entry through that entrance if it was unsafe. As I mentioned, you could have used the entrance on the other end of the hallway if you felt uncomfortable. Again, i'm sorry.
This stay was not relaxing or comfortable. The day we arrived there was construction happening right about the unit. Mind you this was a holiday…. The noise lasted into the late evening hours and was so disruptive you couldn’t nap through it. I contacted the host with no help to remedy the situation. We had to leave our vacation early because of the disturbance. The host actually blocked my phone number so I wasn’t able to contact him and request a refund. If your looking for peace and relaxation this is not the place for you.

We are very sorry your stay did not meet our high standards. Unfortunately, we have no control over when another owner in the lodge decides to remodel their unit. However, once notified, we took several steps immediately, including contacting building security and the contractor to make sure there was no work being done after 5pm (in accordance with building rules). We also ensured with the contractor that there would be no further work after your arrival day, since his worker was on vacation. We tried our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including facilitating an early check-in, and allowing 3 guests (our max is 2), both without charge. Also, I must emphasize that we never block phone numbers from guests. We always work hard to make sure our guests have a pleasant experience, and that we address any issues expeditiously.

Great location, average amenities, AM noise and closure issues
Location is perfect. The room is well outfitted, bed was comfortable and overall the community is dated but nice (as long as you can look past the peeling paint and carpet stains).
Issue #1 - NOISE, VERY LOUD NOISE
Noise and lots of it, starting at 6am. We could not sleep past 6am during our stay because each morning footsteps, rolling carts, stacking furniture and vacuuming on the floor above was so loud - like crazy loud. I am not a light sleeper, I can sleep through music, traffic and barking dogs but this was different. The vacuum sounded like a revving jet engine, rolling carts sounded like crashing cars, stacking furniture sounded like a construction site in your room. It must be the building design or lack of insulation or something... Never experienced anything like it.
Issue #2 - Pools, Hot Tubs and Bathrooms were "Closed For Maintenance"
First, you should know that one of the hottub/pool locations is right off the busiest road in Tahoe. The 2nd location is amazing because it's right off the lake. The problem is that the lake is a 5 minute walk from the unit and was mostly closed. Every morning and evening we made the 5 minute walk to the lake location and only one time during our 4 night stay was it open, and the one time it was open, the associated bathroom was closed. So, when my girlfriend had to use the bathroom after 15 min we had to walk all the way back to our room. By the time we got back to the hottub after using the bathroom it was closed again. So odd.
Overall, I have a hard time recommending this place for anything other than the location. The next time I go to Tahoe I will not be staying here.

Thanks for your feedback. If you had notified me or the front desk about the noise from the unit above that early in the morning, they would have taken care of it asap. I'm sorry about that. Apparently, the second pool at the lakeside was under temporary maintenance, which is very rare. However, the other pool and Jacuzzi at the lodge was open. Also, I want to clarify, that any carpet stains or peeling paint you are referring to, is definitely not in the unit itself, as the unit is newly remodeled to the top-most quality of any unit in the lodge, including new paint, carpet, etc. Perhaps you're referring to outside of the unit or building? Thank you again, I take your comments seriously and will follow up.
The cozy gas fireplace and lighting on dimmer switches made this the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The small space is thoughtfully arranged so everything is right where you need it.
The water pressure in the shower was amazing!
This studio is clean and cozy, and has been recently remodeled. The only concern is the sliding door and lanai is facing the highway with lots of traffic, it’s a bit noisy.
This was a decent property as advertised. This particular unit’s porch faces a busy street so we didn’t have the windows open. Also there was work being done on the building which we weren’t made aware of so very noisy a few days. Overall , satisfied with my stay.
