Inside, enjoy an orthopedic queen bed, fast WiFi workspace, and a luxurious 6-ft soaking tub. Spot toucans, parrots, and aracari daily. We’re located beside a peaceful retreat center offering excellent yoga classes. Our well-maintained road is perfect for scenic walks with sweeping ocean and valley views. Just 20 minutes uphill from Dominical’s beaches, the area is cooler, quieter, and surrounded by lush nature—yet still close to restaurants, modern amenities, and endless outdoor adventures.

You’ll have full use of the entire casita, including soaking tub, outdoor shower, private laundry and secure parking. Guests also enjoy shared access to our salt-water pool and hot tub.

Our charming one-bedroom casita offers a seamless blend of indoor comfort and outdoor living. Enjoy an outdoor kitchen, dining area, lounge space, and an outdoor shower surrounded by nature. Inside, you’ll find a full bath with a 6-ft soaking tub, a queen bed, two comfy chairs, a dedicated workspace, and a second indoor kitchen with extra storage and private laundry.

Set among fruit trees and lush gardens at 1100 ft elevation, the casita stays cooler and more tranquil than the coast. Relax in the shared pool and hot tub, or reach Dominical’s beaches in just 20 minutes.

Fly into San José Airport (SJO) in Alajuela. From there, you can take a small regional flight, catch a bus to San Isidro or Dominical, or arrange a private driver. Renting a 4x4 or SUV is recommended for exploring Costa Rica comfortably, though our road is well maintained and easy to navigate.

Originally from the US, my husband and I have lived full-time in Costa Rica since 2015. We are both musicians, singer/songwriters, and avid gardeners. In addition, Len is a studio engineer and professional photographer and I, Vani, have been a yoga teacher for more than 20 years.

We feel incredibly blessed to have found this property and made the decision in 2015 to move to Costa Rica full time. We are surrounded by so much beauty here and the weather is always so comfortable. We love sharing our amazing property with its views, birds, fruit trees and gorgeous gardens with our guests. We have met so many wonderful people since we became hosts. Meeting new people and giving them a wonderful place to have a vacation is very rewarding!

Why they chose this property

Our villas are situated in Finca Verde, our private 22 acre jungle preserve in Costa Rica's Southern Pacific coastal mountains. Our retreat is situated at an altitude of 1100 feet, just 20 minutes above the beachfront village of Dominical, a charming and unspoiled surfing destination with a vibrant nightlife. We are gifted year round with pleasantly warm days, gentle breezes and cool nights which are perfect for sleeping.

Our property is close enough to beaches, shopping, restaurants and outdoor adventures, but we are away from the crowds and surrounded by nature.

The road outside our gate is perfect for walking and offers both mountain and ocean views. It's easy to spot exotic birds while you enjoy the fresh air and exercise.

We have a yoga center right next door where 4 classes per week are offered. Being able to walk to yoga is a dream!

What makes this property unique

We have amazing views and quietude here, but are convenient to so many activities. The saltwater pool and hot tub are luxurious and offer an expansive view of the valley below and mountains in the distance, Enjoying sunsets from the pool and hot tub is heavenly. The villas are spacious, well-appointed and comfortable.
