About this property

3bd, 2ba, Smoky Mountain cabin: bathed in forests, blessed with views

Come discover why our Hurricane Ridge cabin is our favorite place in the world!

Highlights include: 360-degree forest surroundings and breath-taking mountain views, cozy firesides, hot-tub, large wrap-around decks, beautiful yard with tree swing and rhododendrons, dart board and bumper pool, mountain-top hiking, rooftop solar system + batteries, and drivable towns such as Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Asheville.

Heads-up include: steep, gravel road for the last 1.5 miles (**4WD/AWD required**) construction (as of 2026) on I-40, and 15-20 minutes to the nearest amenities so come loaded up!

What you'll experience: a two-floor, 3-bedroom, 2-full bath cabin whose beds sleep up to 7, could sleep up to 10 including couches, but remains very cozy for a romantic couples weekend with the primary suite on the main floor. The great room connected to the kitchen is the gathering place in the home and leads directly out onto the deck with world-class views. The primary is connected to a hidden back yard and exterior stairs that conveniently take you to the lower level. The lower level includes two separate bedrooms -- one queen, and one shared full + twin bed -- along with a shared full bathroom and a large, cozy den. The den includes a sectional next to another wood-burning fireplace, a dart board, lots of games, and a 3-in-1 game/poker/bumper pool table. The lower floor also hosts the hot tub and more views!

A bit more basics: the home has been recently restored from top to bottom. This includes new appliances, heating and cooling, hardwood floors, roof + solar + battery system, lights, and smart-home features such as smart locks. We also have a two-car garage with EV charging included. The mountain top has a number of other homes so you might run into neighbors driving or hiking around the mountain but you will experience complete privacy and forest surroundings at our home. You might also get to see some wild-life if you're lucky!

Additional notes: we have two dogs who enjoy the home, but generally we prefer our guests do not bring their pets.

My wife, Michelle, and I are from Knoxville and blessed to have our ridge top getaway within an hour and a half of home!

We have brought this home back to life over the past two years and have decided to start sharing it with others recently.

We hope and know you all will love and cherish it if you get a chance to stay just as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

The views!! And proximity to Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Asheville, Max Patch, and home in Knoxville.

What makes this property unique

The views!! And the fully surrounding forest that blocks all neighbors when green.

Let alone the dual fireplaces, decks, hot tub, EV charging, solar and battery, dart board, games, and more!!
