About this property

Historic 3-bedroom home on private acre lot with creek 25 min from Nashville

Welcome to historic Rose Porch in Hendersonville — a home with a century’s worth of stories, 1,821 sq. ft. of charm, and a personality as big as my 1.2-acre yard. Thanks for stopping by! I know you have choices, but how often do you get to meet a 100-year-old who’s still standing tall, proud, and ready for the next adventure? I was built in 1925, back when flapper dresses were in and indoor plumbing was, well… not. Don’t worry—I’ve since joined the modern world and now offer 1.5 bathrooms, a tankless water heater, frig with ice maker, dishwasher, washer, and dryer—though I still remember the excitement of my first indoor plumbing! My interiors were completely renovated in 2022, and I now feature Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and a workspace area for when you have to answer those annoying emails. RV parking with 50 amp hookup available. Just a short 25-minute drive to Nashville, I’m the perfect place to experience the nightlife of Broadway, host a family get-together, bachelorette party, small outdoor wedding, or even film a music video. There’s room to sleep seven people, plus an extra rollaway bed in case you need space for one more—making it eight! There is a primary bedroom, with a king and a twin bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed with the roll away in the closet, the third bedroom has a full size bed. My dining table seats up to eight, when you add the leaf, and there’s a handy island in the kitchen with seating for two more. There is enough parking area on concrete for 8 to 10 cars. Parking is available on the grass behind the garage as well. Step outside and you’ll find more than just a yard. My land stretches across the street, where you’ll discover a cave and a babbling brook—perfect for quiet reflection. Wildlife? I’ve got it in spades: deer, bunnies, raccoons, hawks, wild turkeys, groundhogs, and more songbirds than you can count. If you’re quiet at night, you’ll hear nothing but serenity—and maybe a lullaby from the brook. I’m as country as Dolly! My yard has served as a stage for music videos and bonfires that have lit up the night with laughter from family, friends, local celebrities, and music artists. You never know who might have toasted a marshmallow here or played guitar by the fire. When you visit, you’ll notice my Southern charm—including a brand-new gazebo/cabana, perfect for weddings (please message host for pricing on weddings or large gatherings), pulling out the guitar and writing a song, or just sipping sweet tea in the summertime. There’s a screened-in porch for watching fireflies without getting bitten by mosquitoes, and a front porch for sittin’ and listening to the creek or waiting for your DoorDash or Amazon delivery. My kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, knives, silverware, glasses, mugs, stemware, toaster, blender, ice maker, Keurig, baking sheets, oven mitts, dish towels, and spices. K-cups, sugar, and creamer are provided for your first morning coffee. The bathrooms have towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. Each bedroom has a lighted makeup mirror, so everyone can get glam in their own space. The entry area features a full-size mirror to make sure your outfit is on point before heading out the door. For activities, I offer extra-large Jenga, cornhole, a foosball table, and board games. I was one of the very first homes on Hogans Branch Road, and I’ve watched the area grow. So, as you walk through my rooms, know that you’re not just looking at a house—you’re experiencing a piece of Hendersonville history. Thanks for visiting. I hope you feel the love, laughter, and music that have filled these walls for a century. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll want to add your own story to mine. See y’all soon!
